This is an antique heavy table that has been in the family for years. My dad refinished this beautiful round oak table years ago. The table is 29" tall and 23 1/2" round. The bottom shelf is 13" from the floor. The top of the table has a design etched in the wood. This would make a nice foyer. Side table or lamp table. Also great for the Christmas Holidays to hold your Nativity set. This is a very sturdy table. It seems as if a small piece of glue has come loose from the top of the table on one of the seams. The legs are glued in so this is a pick up only item. I live about 15 miles west of Chicago, near the Brookfield Zoo. If you need more pictures, please let me know. And the story is of a successful well provided for family This would be a sweet antique Parasol cover for a wedding It is 46" across.Or 117CM I see one tiny tiny spec of a spot. See picture, I also took a picture of this on white tissue to show up any staining, and their is none. This was probably NEVER used,or maybe once that's when the spec of a spot happened, and it never came out again.

Offered for sale is a Fabulous Vintage Maitland Smith Demilune Game Table. Beautifully tooled antique brown leather covers the table. Top to bottom, including the small finials, feet and legs. The table features gold embossed detailing, three little decorative drawers with solid brass pulls, and the Maitland Smith brass plate inside the center drawer. This table is a demilune with the option of opening the top to reveal a 30" diameter round surface. The back two legs swing at approximately a 45 degree angle to support the top when open. Overall the table is in excellent condition with the following exceptions: The leather has finish wear when in the demilune position(see pic#12) The bottom of the feet have nicks in the leather with the most prominent and noticeable in pic#11. 36" Round LANE Table; 15" Tall; Made in 1969; BEAUTIFUL Condition! NR
Thanks for looking at my very nice Lane. Round, solid wood, table. It is 36" around, X 15" tall, in excellent condition, and has never been refinished. The top has a few defects like slight scratches and one 3" X 1/2" missing finish, which could be touched up quite easily. There are no structural defects(it is very sound and the legs and stringers are tight and perfect) I would rate the the entire table an 8.8 on a 10-point scale. The top could easily be refinished, but I will leave this up to you. I have refinished many of these Lane pieces and they come out very nice, as the lacquer over the years gets darker and takes away from the notch inlays on the top. If you like, I will refinish the top for you for an additional $75.00, and you will be impressed. All of the little scratches and imperfections come out when it is ... morestripped, and the wood grain and inlays become much more pronounced. No reserve, and I can probably ship this insured to anywhere in the continental U.S. for $45.00 via FedEx. Antique Duncan Phyfe Style Round Side Table Tripod Pedestal, Brass Claw Cap Feet
A lovely round Federal style table with a pie-crust top(scalloped on the inner and outer edge of the table top) Mahogany or Rosewood is in wonderful condition. Not sure which wood it is made from. But based on the weight I believe it is mahogany. If it were rosewood it would be even heavier. This one was part of the estate sale from a family that was cleaning out their 3rd generation 103 year old farmhouse. No idea who the actual maker is; is this a Duncan Phyfe original? I don't know; I understand that only a very few original Phyfe pieces(out of the many made) were actually marked. If anyone looking can give me more clues as to whether this piece IS an original Phyfe please do so and I will re-list with an appropriately higher price: Just kidding. Even if it wasn't made by Mr. Phyfe it is still a very old and beautiful solid wood ... moretable. If you can even find a table made from all solid real wood in the stores nowadays you will definitely be looking at a few hundred dollars, minimum. Look closely at the pictures. And note the metal pieces on the underside(pictures#6& 7) that were used in attaching the tripod legs to the spindle. Also take a peek at the screw heads on the underside of the table top(picture#5) this is a pretty good indicator of the age on this piece. The top can be removed from the base by unscrewing in a counterclockwise direction. The base is a tripod(three legs) The foot of each leg has a vintage brass claw cap. Sets of 3 of the new(not vintage) brass claw caps(without legs or a table! were selling on Ebay by another seller for $39.00. At some point in more recent history, someone placed metal taps on the bottom of each foot; it is obvious that these were a much later addition. take a look at picture#8! This is a beautiful. Heavy, well-made old table in great condition. There are the normal signs of wear that one would expect to see on an older table including a couple of scuff marks on the base of the legs near the feet and a couple of light use marks on the top.
