Also includes the setting standard and wood storage case. Mic is made by VIZ of Poland. Fowler really doesn't manufacture measuring tools. They buy them mainly from China and markup the price 50% or so to add the Fowler name. This mic is from back in the days when Fowler purchased their tools from USA. Europe and Japan. Thread mic. Set master and anvils are in very good working condition. The anvils can also be used on Mitutoyo. B&S and Tesa thread mics, but they are slightly longer and you will lose some range. The ratchet stop spring is weak. But I've found that a ratchet stop is pretty much useless on a thread mic. Complete with the wood storage case shown. See FULL SIZE PHOTOS below. Starrett Micrometers set No. 436 vintage Excellent Condition machinist
3 Vintage Starrett micrometers 1 inch. 1-2 inch, and 2-3 inch. All in excellent condition. Markings are 77-6,77-7, and 77-8. Someone has put date strips on these all of 6-69, I suppose that was the date he marked them. I have checked the accuracy of these with a machined 1 inch cube that is accurate to the thousands and all 3 were dead on. I don't see any scratches or paint loss. Best looking set on E-bay. Made in U.S.A. Someone took really good care of these. I believe I can fit these into a small flat rate box. I ship to U.S.A. only.
