John Deere tool JDE-42
This is an Owatonna Tool Company OTC tool made for John Deere. Part number JDE-42. Application unknown.I first though this might be the driver for taking sleeves out but the outside diamater of 5 1/8 doesn't match engine bores of the vintage I'm expecting this to fit. Besides. The shoulder to the knurled part isn't very substantial. I am learning that JDE is the engine series of service tools. And this number is in the range of what I'm finding on the 3010-4010 board although this number is not resident there. I have many tools from a Deere dealership. I've been waiting on selling them until the other inventory from that batch was largely depleted since the tools were scattered through the pallets of parts. I'll be experimenting for a bit here on how best to list these and then I'll sell tools regularly until they're ... moregone. I also have 4 of the blue OTC tool boards, all for the early new generation Waterloo tractors(1010- 4020 mostly) and I'll start working on those when the odd tools are gone.
