I am selling on behalf of the owner a nice mid century retro drop leaf dining table with four matching chairs. The chairs all have original black vinyl seats. Table can support two more leaves but those were lost and not included. This has a light stained laminate top in good shape. Does have some signs of wear but nothing major. Vintage 1950's or 60's Kitchen Table and Chairs
This is a pretty nice formica topped table with four chairs. The table top is in excellent condition. The trim around the outside edge is near perfect. One chair has a large rip in the backrest and one has a small area around the edge of the seat where the covering has come off the cord. You can see the photos for the damage I have described. Before bidding please note the customer pick up location and terms toward the end of the description. THIS LISTING is for a really nice wrought iron patio set from the 1950's or 1960's. This set has been indoors for about half a century and is all original includeing paint. It's possible this set was intended for indoor use. I'm not sure about this kind of table top and cold weather. It was passed down from mother to daughter and the daughter just moved to N.C. to retire. Virtually no rust except on the discs under the feet, which are all there. Great design to the iron and the table top is cast acrylic or resin over wood with Abalone shell chips suspended in the resin. The top is heavy, but not as heavy as marble. Light very natural paint ware to the iron in places. The vinyl seats have a few spots that may or may not completely ... morecome out but they are in very nice condition. The resin top is also in very nice condition but I will get into greater detail about that for ebay. In my opinion I would not do anything, this set is nice. I found one very small nick in the table top surface. The lower edge of the top has a few scattered nicks from the chairs. Top edge I felt nothing. The few scattered dark spots you see in the top are natural to the table. I think they are some pieces of the dark side of the abalone shell that slipped through the process.see close up) The outer edge of the top has some pitting holes that are dark. Maybe shell pieces that came out, maybe casting flaws.see other close up) And then the resin discolored there. Only the most particular people would do anything, but if you want to, a little paint and filler would be extremely easy. The seats will need to be re-attached, just 4 small screws each to wood bottoms under the cushions. They were loose when I aquired the set. The table top measures 39 3/4" across. Six piece SOLID rock maple 1940-50s Cottage style dining set. Golden Beryl line manufactured by Willett Furniture Company of Louisville. Kentucky. The company opened its doors in 1934 and became known for its use of quality hardwoods(mostly cherry and maple) and beautiful wax-based finishes. Willett exhibited its furniture at the Chicago Furniture Show in the late 1930s and 1940s. And by the 1950s, achieved national status advertising in Better Homes and Garden selling to markets nationwide. At its peak of popularity customers had to wait up to a year to have an order filled. The factory closed in 1962. This dining s et includes: four(4) T-back saber leg chairs. Drop leaf table with 10 legs(yes, there are 10 legs! and extra table leaf, server and shelf. Table is 29 inches in height with top dimensions as follows: 27 inches by 42 inches with ... moredrop leaves down; 42 inches by 60 inches with drop leaves up; and 42 inches by 85 inches with extra leaf installed. Server dimensions are 50 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 35 inches tall. Shelving unit is placed on top of server and stands 34 inches tall(height of both server and shelves is 69 inches. Overall good condition-the finish is worn and scratched in places; the two fasteners attaching the shelves to the server are missing; one table leg has been repaired and a catch on one of the server doors needs replacing. RARE MURIEL COLEMAN IRON DINING TABLE/CHAIRS EAMES MCCOBB GROSSMAN CONOVER KNOLL
California Modern iron dining set by Muriel Coleman for Pacifica design group and manufactured by her company California Contemporary. Extremely hard to find. As is most of her furniture. Everything original except for new teal blue vinyl seats. All pieces have their original chrome glides intact. Came directly out of an estate in Washington state. The chairs are solid iron, as is the dining room table. The back of the chairs mirror the design of the dining table. Very solid and well-made. The dining room table is very rare and the design is quite nice. Milo Baughman did a very similar design for Pacific Iron. The differences here compared to the Milo Baughman design is that the understructure of the legs are welded to the four corners. The Milo Baughman one the legs are not. The glides are also different on the Pacific Iron Milo Baughman ... moretable. They most likely collaborated with this design- who designed it first? That is the question. In any case, fabulous design. The top of the table has a rubber strip that runs along the top to cushion the glass, which just sits on it. If you've seen her desk, it has the same rubber strip on the top with the glass sitting on it. The strip is somewhat deteriorated but can be left alone or replaced easily with a reasonable facsimile. The glass has scratches and wear. It can be left alone, for the purists, or replaced with a new piece inexpensively. The set fits perfectly in a smaller apartment or even as your main dining set depending on your requirements. The dimension on the dining table is 54 X 34 X 29 high. Again. This is a collector's piece as furniture from Muriel Coleman, and her esteemed colleagues- Luther Conover, Milo Baughman, etc. are pretty hard to find. Two 20-inch Big Agnes Big Easy Chairs
Here's a pair of identical Big Agnes Big Easy chairs I bought from their original owner and have never used outside. These are compatible with 20-inch air mattresses. The only signs of wear are a little hole in the one chair's mesh stuff sack(visible in the last picture) and some discoloration on the bottom of the one chair- looks like oil or just some dirt transfer from using it on my apartment's hardwood floor. Anyhow. Nothing is wrong, functionally, with either pad. They're neat and all, but Iwe never take them along. The prospect of fiddling with one of these after an 8- or a 10-mile day on the trail just didn't appeal to me, so here they've sat. This set includes one table. Two expansion leaves, eight chairs, and two removable load bearing center legs. It was originally purchased in the late 1950's in the Chicagoland area. Probably from Marshall Field and Company, manufactured by the White Furniture Co. At its smallest configuration it seats four. But can expand to fit either six or eight. All components are in good to excellent mechanical condition. But the chairs are overdue for refinishing. The main table was refinished in 1986, but the leaves still have their original finish. All chairs were reupholstered in about 1999 and plenty of cloth was saved from that job. My parents were the original owners and I inherited this item in the late'70s. These chairs are engraved in the distinctive Eastlake style. Featuring low relief carving in geometric designs. The upholstery is likely a later renovation and is in like-new condition; it is nicely fitted with double welting. Not all the photos due justice to the rich colors of the upholstery; in many shots. Stunning set of 5 mid-century modern solid wood(walnut? dining chairs by The Basic-Witz Industries Furniture. Inc. Three side chairs and two arm chairs. Great vintage condition! Low backs. Rich color. You rarely see anything from Basic-Witz on the market. Furniture by this company appears difficult to acquire. Quite solid. With only minute marks to the wood. All spindles and brass leg caps are in tact. One leg spindle, and a few of the seat backs and arms are a tiny bit loose-nothing a couple of drops of wood glue can't fix. Original upholstery. Two chairs have larger yellowing spots on the seats. Sadly. These had been horribly reupholstered by the previous owner and the foam that was used on top of the original upholstery disintegrated and left some yellowing around the edges of all 5 seats. There is a 6th chair(a side chair. Not pictured) ... morethat is missing the upholstery, a leg spindle, and has a broken seat back that was badly repaired. It measures 46 inches wide by 27 inches with the leaves down. With the leaves up. It measures 46 inches wide by 75 inches long. It comes with an additional 10 inch leaf to extend it to 85 inches. Here is a fabulous American made vintage Benchcraft by Drexel. Drexel Furniture Company, NC dining table and 6 chairs with the most fabulous wood grains and mid-century modern danish influenced design. This table has a particularly lovely top and the capacity to be used in a variety of lengths as it comes with two leaves. The table measures 64 inches long by 29 inches tall by 44 inches wide. With one leaf in it expands to 84 inches in length and with both leaves in, it measures 104 inches in length with room for all your holiday guests. The chairs each stand 37 1/2 inches tall to the top of the back and measure 21 inches wide by 20 inches front to back. The seats are 17 1/2 inches in height and the width of the seats is 21 inches tapering to 16 inches across the back. The two arm chairs are the same. Though there is only 19 inches in width ... morebetween the two arms and the front of the chairs and all the seats are 17 1/2 inches deep front to back. Unusual Pair of Chinese Carved Hardwood Corner Chairs
Quite elegant and delicate pair of Chinese chairs made of precious hardwood that looks suspiciously like huanghuli. There are two reverse teardrop hardstone panels on each chair surrounded by carved traditional embellishments. The seats are of a wonderfully chiseled chamfer with apron fronts on three sides. The lovely carved horseshoe type arms are supported by graceful sloping supports and the legs curve down to abbreviated paw-like forms. The back has a graceful carved back support. All in all these will make an elegant show in any room. They can stand alone beautifully and do not require corners for placement much as they would nicely fit into corners. Get a piece of history with these Set of 4 Conference Chairs. They were purchased between 1917- 1933. Back when the wood was better and artistry in our furniture was evident. Sorry we are not sure of the exact year. Chairs are made from Solid Oak Wood. They have leather padded seats. They were re-upolstered in the 1970's. They were purchased from a friend's fathers office. Son moved to a new office and heard they were going to throw them away he quickly went and got them to same them from the trash. Victorian Painted Table & 6 Chairs/Stenciled / 2 Leafs
An exceptional design and quality can be found in this late 1800's dining set. The table is made from maple and the chairs are made from pine. Painted a mustard yellow color and stenciled in a fruit and leaf motif. This set would add color and character to a sunny breakfast nook. The paint on this is not original to the set. We believe it was painted in the 70's or 80's. The set includes four matching chairs. Each chair has brown pinstriping accenting the fine lines. On the top rail there is a gorgeous fruit and leaf motif. The chairs have plank seats. There is some age appropriate paint loss and scratches at the bottoms of the chairs especially on the rungs. The other two chairs are painted to match the set. And are structurally a little different. The seats and the back rails are designed a little different but they are painted ... moreto match the others. Two of the chairs are loose on the backs and will need to be re-glued. The height of the chair seat is 17" The table has pin striping around the entire edge of the table. This is also found on the edges of each leaf and on the table legs. Originally the table had casters but hese were lost long ago. There is age appropriate paint loss and scuffs to the legs of the table also. The height of the table is 28" and it has a width of 43.5" The table closed measures 52.5" Each leaf is 10.5" opening fully to 73.5" There is a small crack that starts on the edge but it does not go all the way through. This can be filled in and repainted. Both sides of the table have the same fruit& leaf motif but painted larger. Preview is available by appointment. Up for auction a pick up only item. Location of pick-up 311 Independance street Perryopolis, Pa 15473. A wonderful chippy white vintage table and four chairs. In one photo it shows brown looking wood that is the underneath of the table which I am certain it is oak. One of the heaviest table and heavy chairs I have seen. I do believe that this is from the 20-30's era. Keep it chippy white or wow how this would look refinished. Listing this evening a nice pair of Ethan Allen Bracebackchairs in very good condition. They are done in the popular nutmeg color. These were produced for a number of years by Ethan Allen for a few of their lines including American Traditional and Early American amongst others. There are no breaks in the chairs. There is some light wear to the finish on the tops of the rails and on the arms or the armchair from normal use. There are some light scratches on the seat of the armchair but nothing major or noticeable. All joints are tight and strong. The side chair is just about 35" tall(armchair is 1/2" taller) with 17" seat height(armchair seat height is 17 1/2" The top of the arms on the armchair are 27 3/4" from the floor.
