Hello. Up for bid is a vintage pair of brown leather gaiters or leggings. They are possibly military. But I'm not sure and could have been either for horse or motorcycle riding. They are a bit dry and could use a good oiling. Each is the same size and they measure approx. 11 3/4" long, the smallest they will go at the base is about 3" and the smallest they will go at the top is about 4"4 1/2" All the hardware is intact and seems to work just fine, but the leather should definitely be oiled prior to use to ensure that it doesn't do any damage to the straps. The top of each where it would meet the calf seems to have been trimmed down(it was probably cutting into the previous owners leg and they are probably the ones that modified them, but it does not detract from their function that I can see) see the last pics ... morebelow. Each is marked the same on the interior with the numbers"15" and"42" and has"Rosenwasser Bros Inc Contract N.C.E. 2159 N General Supply Depot, N. Y. stamped inside. I haven't been able to find much info on this company, but it seems that they were active in the early half of the 1900's. They are listed in one reference I found from 1917, but no mention of which kind of leggings.and the only images I could find are of the canvas ones with their name on them. This leather belt/holster was bought a few months back from Baytree Interiors for over £150. It is on sale there still for £117. It has not been used but been kept carefully in a cupboard and is exactly as in the photograph but without bullets shown. I will put two free gifts in with it though. A metal six pointed Sheriff's badge and a Police badge. This is very good quality leather and a great gift for any fan of militaria.

This is a 16" traffic lead for large. Strong dogs. It is made of braided leather. The braid is comprised of 4 square strips of leather which make the lead very strong. It has a loop handle on your end and a strong swivel bolt snap on the dog's end. This item has never been used. I listed it as used because it is not in its original packaging as you would expect a new item to be. Original seller listed it as a 12" lead and that was what I was looking for. But it is in fact more like 16" which is too long for me and my dog. But if that is the length you need, I am sure you will be happy with this item.

Pattern: An 8” Flowery(leafy) border runs from the inside snap to the bottom of the holster. This is a totally retro 1940's or 1950's style Samsonite suitcase made by Schwayder Bros. Of Denver. It measures about 21" x 15" plus the handle) and is about 7" deep. It has a hard shell, covered with brown leather leather, with thicker leather reinforcing bands around the edges, and metal brackets at the corners. The inside is lined with cloth, with a hanging cloth partition curtain inside the lid. The manufacturer's tag says"Samsonite Luggage. Style 4632. Schwayder Bros. Inc. Denver. Viva la Vintage! This is a GREAT purse. And surprise. It still has the matching mirror which goes in the inner pocket. So cute. I believe this is the original comb to. Very nice vintage condition. You can see some wear on the bottom edge but overall leather is in quite nice condition as you can see. Clean on the inside as well. We leave polishing to buyer. I would call this a chestnut brown. The color was a bit difficult to capture. I think picture 8, although it shows less of the purse, is the closest to color. Please advise of any questions. in my opinion is closest.

There were many manufacturers who made this exact type of bag, but W&G is the specific company who made the ones which were used in the first film.
