Metco Fusebond metallizer like arc stick welder
I bought this beast because I thought it was a stick welder. It isn't. It's a close relative. A metallizer. I'm not an expert, but from what I've been able to learn it's used much like MIG welder, but with special electrodes that lay down a thin, wide layer on the surface. The printed label mentions a"brush" and you can see that the electrode holder has a rectangular slot; I'm guessing the electrode is something like a wire brush that is dragged along in contact with the work. It is used for such things as building up worn machine surfaces and restoring plating. Specs: input is 110V@ 29A or 220V@ 18A. Output maximum of 9V@ 345A. And that's why it won't work as an arc welder- 9 volts just isn't enough to sustain the arc. I have powered it up and attempted to weld with it. So I can say that all ... morethe transformer taps are good and it does put out a lot of current- just not at enough voltage to actually make an arc. It'll sure heat up the whole length of a 1/8" rod though! The power cord with 50A plug. Ground cable and electrode holder and cable are included. The shielding gas hose is also included, but the tank and regulator are not. The insulation is all in good condition with some scuffing, but no cracks or missing chunks. Dimensions: 14x17x24" tall including the casters. The unit weighs 130 lbs. And the handpiece and cables add about another 20 lbs. Local pickup is highly recommended. But if you insist I can drop it off at a shipping depot in St. Louis for you. Palletizing/crating and moving it from here to you are between you and the shipper. I get out 100 miles or so West with some regularity. So if you're west of St. Louis as far as Jefferson City or Columbia we can work something out for a modest cost.

Here for sale I have two vintage? Welding Cable connectors? I found these at an estate sale. I don't know for sure what these are used for I only have the boxes to go by. There is nothing on google I can find. I think this allows for twisting. 360 degrees if needed, in real fat wire like welding wire. Maybe it is new never used and I was wrong to call it used. Maybe you solder the cable into this thing like you would when you make your own car or motorcycle battery terminal? I really don't know what this is or what to call it sorry. Both are red. Other than the crappy paint job it is in very good condition(see the picture of the insides) It came out of a high school welding program that was shut down. It is 208/230/460 single phase. I included a picture of the specifications on this machine(some of the numbers have rubbed off so I included a photo of an Airco Bumblebee 250 specification's it's the same welder just another color) It does not come with a cord or any leads. I hate to sell this welder but I have been carrying this around for 2 years and feel it would be better for someone to buy it who will use it. I purchased the welder from a surplus sale about 10- 15 years ago and ran it up to about 2 years ago. I had a small weld shop in the south east. This welder was the work horse of the shop. This welder has welded allot of aluminium. Stainless, copper nickel, and carbon steel. It has made its money back 3000 times. The machine is good, the TIG system works great, I have even used it with a miller wire feed system as the primary power source. Machine comes with a 300 amp Jackson stinger that is approximately 25 foot. the pig tail is 14 feet with a attached ground that is approximately 12 feet with an additional ground extinction of another 12 feet. Can weld AC or DC. I had this machine hard wired to the ... morepower source so it has no plug on it. The electrician disconnected it 2 years ago when I had to close down the shop, and she has been sitting in a box with plastic wrap on it for 2 years. This machine is heavy. It does not have aluminium coils they are copper, this make it very heavy. Surplus used welder. This is a Miller Big 20 It is designed for SMAW/stick welding but when coupled with a compressor could handle light air arc gouging as well. With appropriate equipment it can also do GTAW/TIG. With a suitcase wire feeder like an LN-25 you could also do GMAW/FCAW(MIG/Flux core) with it. This is Miller's answer to the insanely popular Lincoln SA-200 Pipeliner and having used both in the field. They both put down a similar quality bead. Rated at 200 Amps but will put out up to 300 Amps welding current. It is mounted to a trailer frame. Tires have been sitting but are holding air. The warning light comes on when switched to plasma cutting or MMA mode. I have never used or tested the TIG mode but the light is not coming on if its on this setting when turned on.
