WW1 KENOTRON TB-1 Vacuum TUBE BRASS BASE Antique US Army SIGNAL CORPS radio VTG
Here is an antique Kenotron type TB-1 radio vacuum tube with brass base and nipple tip. Original packing and outer box. In beautiful shape, looks to be NOS, it came in a large lot of new old stock tubes, and filament tests fine at 0.6 ohms, but I have no way to test further. And box is in pretty nice shape too with only light wear, and all flaps top and bottom are intact.

Here we have a Vintage U.S. Army TS-497B/URR Signal Corps Generator Because I am not sure how to use it my testing is limited. It powers up and I have displayed it in the photos switched on and Off. as you can see as I turned the knobs needles started to move. The large knob just requires an Allen key( hex Key) to tighten the grub screw on the stork. the dial moves just need tightening on. Please see pictures for cosmetic condition Because I have no idea what it does or how to use it I can only confirm it powers up and stuff happens to the needles when I turn them. For sale is a vintage Wells Gardner BC-348-N Army Signal Corps Radio Receiver. Unlike most of these. This appears unmodified as it still has its original dynamotor. Unfortunately I do not have the cord or power source so the unit is untested. Selling as is. As old as it is I am assuming it will need some servicing to be fully functional. WW2 or possibly later aircraft receiver. Case has some scratches and some missing pain in spots. The right side panel has the largest area of paint loss. US Army Campaign Hat Cord, Enlisted Signal Corps (Item # 1175)
This is a US Army Campaign Hat Cord that was worn by the enlisted men of the Signal Corps from 1902-1921. Signal Corps hat cords are supposed to be orange and white and this one used to be those colors. You can see by the photos that this cord is now yellow and white. If you look at the close up of the front of the keeper and inside the keeper and acorn. You can see a distinct orange color where it would have been hidden from the sun. Different batches of dye also held their color better. Over all the cord does not appear faded, but the color has definitely changed. Please note that this is not one of the yellow and white cords that was worn by the civilians working with the Signal Corps. As well as the serial number issued to each pair. Both markings are still very visible and distinguishable(shown in pictures three and four) The original leather neck strap is still intact, as well as the leather around the binoculars themselves. See photos. This auction is for a pile of accessories for the WIreless Set Number 19 Mark II made during WWII for Russian lend-lease and then widely surp.Llused out after the war. No radio is included-just the accessories shown. They are: 3 headset/mic extension cords, headset/mic distribution box and associated cable, one other cabel that I am not sure of the function, what I believe is the original antyenna cable that came with the set, the spare tubes kit(missing the 807) and three headset/mic combinations that vary in condition as follows: One headset mic is like new in the box, a second headset/mic has had the mic cord replaced with a ham mic cord. This is easily undone and in 15 minutes you can have the headset/mic all back to original. The third headset muic is a basket case. Someone cut apart te cord and lost the headband. The earpieces ... moreand mic are there and they are like new. But the cord is a mess. There are also several connectrs of that weird type used by WS19MkII. But twhatevr they were attaced to has been cut off. he cloth ords are in great shape with no fraying or damage that I see. The rubber inside feels fine-it is not brittle. Great matched set of insignia for a signal corps officer. In this case the owner was the 1st US Army pilot to fly, trained by Orville Wright, his name being Frederick E Humphreys, these pieces come from his estate lot. He was an engineer officer but served in the Air Service as part of the signal branch and as its own air branch in WWI as a trainer and base officer.

You are bidding on a US Army Signal Corps Field Telephone in great shape. This is model EE- 3- B in oak and metal and in fantastic condition. In the last photo. You can even see part of an old battery that said Made in USA. I listed this under 1919- 1938. But it could be later as I am not an expert. One other I saw that looked like this was dated as late as 1934 There is a serial number on the phone itself and the number 70. This is an unusual field phone as it is housed in heavy oak cases in a steel protective frame. Schematics are inside the lid with instructions in crisp handwriting. This would make a great decorative piece as the oak and metal are in great shape and show well. The tag on top also says that this was rebuilt in NYGD. For international buyers. I've had this in my collection for 25 years; time for it to find a new home. This is a J-3 Signal Corps key which was used in a WWI field telegraph set; the lever would fold to allow the cover of the set to be closed. It is all brass; the cast pivot frame is marked S193630(as near as I can make it out) It has Fahnestock clips which are dated PAT APRIL 07. This key is all that remains of its set. It has been mounted on a 3-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of pine. This includes its original knob. The folding pivot and lever pivot are frozen. U.S. Army Signal Corps Pigeon Section Original 25 June 1944 inventory war pigeon
Up for auction. Some unique, wartime items related to the Pigeon Section of the United States Army Signal Corps, created a little less than a year before the war ended in Europe. They are 2 pages that constitute a list or inventory of pigeons, including number and coloration(lame wing" is noted next to one bird) The writing is in pencil and the pages are dated 25 June 1944, and have the numbers"33" and 78" at the top righthand corners. They also feature a very nice"Pigeon Section" stationery design. The pages are 9.5 inches in height and 6 inches wide. I found these in Atlanta in the early 1990s, so I have no other information as to their origin, but they are definitely original documents from the WWII era.
