Up for auction is a OLD 1800'S- ORIGINAL- BEAUTIFUL LIGHTER AMBER TRADE MARK LIGHTNING QT. FRUIT JAR. The old ground lip is in good condition for its age. It has some of the normal age, use related, flaking and from the old grinding process. The front of the is nicely embossed with TRADE MARK LIGHTNING. The base of the jar is embossed with PUTNAM 92. The old metal bale around the jar neck.Along with the lid retainer wire has the normal age rust, but solid. The lid is embossed with the normal old 1800's dates associated with this type of jar, it is in good condition for its age, I see one small area that looks to me it was a small bubble burst, I took a picture of it, just wanted you to know it was there, and to me not a issue, the lid has no cracks, the jar has no cracks. this is a very early neon advertising trade sign dating from around the 1920s. it is in all original untouched fine working condition. originally from a washer repair store. The current original lettering was just painted on the metal but the top back of the sign is an open slot for different signs to be added to the framed neon display, most likely for cardboard inserts. I had this in collection for some years and I always thought this would look awesome with an appropriate porcelain sign in the display space. total measurements are 19 5/8'h x 14 3/4'w x 4 7/8'd. the cord is all original and if used it would probably be a good idea to be eventually replaced for safety. this is a great genuine oldie with tons of authentic character.

1876-S Trade Dollar PCGS AU58 Chop Mark Nice Original Luster Light Toning Silver
From 1873 to 1885. The United States issued Trade Dollars for circulation in Asia to compete with other silver dollar sized coins produced by other countries. Trade Dollars contained slightly more silver weight than a normal silver dollar issued for circulation in the United States. This 1876-S Trade Dollar has been graded AU58 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin here was also counterstamped with a character known as a"chop mark" which is designated on the label and can be found at the lower-right obverse of the coin. The“chop mark” on this coin appears similar in shape to that of a swastika which has a long history as a symbol of good luck. The coin is very lustrous on both sides and has attractive light toning. The outer dimension are 35.5" X 8.75" X 5.5" and the inside dimensions are 34" X 7.75" X 5" It is a"Light Duty Case" which means it is very rugged and durable but lighter in weight that heavy duty cases.
