Front is matching Mavic skewer and the rear is a silver Salsa skewer(see pic) Used but in good shape. True to within 1/16 of an inch or less. Minoura Rim Drive Trainer - RDA80R - No more worn out tires!
I'm auctioning my 2-year old Minoura rim drive trainer. It's in perfect working order. But it's not appropriate for use with my new carbon clincher wheelset. The trainer uses the brake track rather than rear tire to generate resistance, and this model includes a 7-level resistance remote too. This trainer is great if your tires have any knobs/treads, which would otherwise"skip" on a tire-driven unit. Not only is this trainer compatible with all tires, it saves you money because it doesn't cause tire/rim wear. The only limitations on the trainer's compatibility are 1) carbon wheels and 2) disc-only rims(these don't have a brake track) Auction includes the trainer. With the attached resistance remote, and the rear quick release skewer supplied with the unit.

Lobdell wooden tubular rim 36 holes for 28" tires
Here we have a fine prewar All WOOD rim by Lobdell in excellent B+ condition. This came on my 1899 BSA racer and is in great shape. See pics of rims they are part of the description. I found a matching one for my front in a more period correct and I have no use for this one now. It is lacquered wood and have some surface scratches on the tops and on the edges but no dings. Cracks, or warping. It is originally stamped"Lobdell" and it will be perfect for that nice track 6 days racer project. I recently had this set of beautiful touring/all-rounder wheels built up before deciding to sell my 700c touring bike and buy a Surly Troll which takes 26" rims. Thus these have only seen 50-75 miles of use. And there is almost no visible wear. I had these handbuilt by the best shop in town with double-butted DT-swiss spokes. The hubs are Shimano Deore XT M775's. They have a centerlock disc brake mount(if you wish to use standard 6-bolt disc rotors, ultralight and cheap adapters are readily available) The rims are 36 hole Velocity Dyads with a machined brake surface so that you can go either disc or rim. The whole wheelset built up much lighter than I expected, yet are exceptionally strong and stiff. Both Rims are Straight and Very Solid but both are starting to show some rust corrosion around the valve stem holes. I can push the valve stem down into the rim. They will each need a little weld build up around the valve stem holes. There is No Fluid in the Tires. Tires are Matched Goodyears and are 14.9x38. Tires are Black, Round and Hold Air. One Tire has a cut in the side wall but the tube isn't showing through. Bid knowing that both rims will need a little repair around the valve stem holes and the tires aren't anything to brag about. John Deere Drop Center Rear Rims With 14.9x38 Tires. Came off of the 1950 A Tractor Shown. Excellent Set of Rims. They are Very Straight and Very Solid. No Rust Through Damage Anywhere. There is a little bit of minor rust pitting on the raised center where it meets the wheel casting. Valve Stem Holes are Perfect. One rim looks like it may have a fairly new tube installed. Tires are Mismatched. One is a Firestone and One is a Good Year, I would rate them at about 40% tread on the conservative side. I don't see any boots, cuts or wires showing. The tires are checked and cracked but they do hold air and don't leak at all. These will last as long as you need them to until you are ready to go brand new. No Cracks, Welds or Repairs. Nice Valve Stem Holes. The one photo of the valve stem just has some discoloration around it, there is No Rust Damage though. All of the Bolt Mounting Holes are Nice and Round, Not Cracked, Welded or Reinforced. Tires are Black, Round, and Hold Air. I would say the lugs are maybe around 40% or so. I have for auction a set of Zipp 808 clincher wheels. Aluminum brake surface non firecrest model. Campagnolo freehub with 12-25 cassette. I unfortunately can't remember model of cassette. Educated guess is Centaur. Also included is a set of Vredestein Fortezza TriComp tires. Both wheelset. Cassette, and tires have minimal use. Bought these for my wifes tri-bike and we shortly moved to Texas afterwards where triathlons took a backseat on our recreation schedule.
