Up for sale is a lot of 3 Fairbanks morse magnetos. 1 is a FMJ1B7. This is a 1 cyclinder magneto. It has no cover. The mag is free b ut there is no tripand no spark.The case and gear are in great condition. 1 is a FMJV4B7 and I believe this one is for a MM tractor. It has a trip but no spark. The case and cover are sound. The other one is a FMZV4B7 whjch I also believe to be Moline. The trip needs work. There is cover screws missing but the cover seems to be good. But below is a list of the numbers stamped or written on the parts if available. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, but keep in mind you probably know more about them than I. I will try to help, just keep the questions simple! None of these have identifiable markings. Two appear to be Faibanks Morse. And one is WICO. Fairbanks Morse and Company was an American manufacturing company in the late 19th and early 20th century. Originally a weighing scale manufacturer. It later diversified into pumps, engines, windmills, coffee grinders, feed mills, locomotives and industrial supplies until it was merged in 1958. It used the trade name Fairbanks-Morse. There are ... morethree separate corporate entities that could be considered successors to the company. None of which represent a complete and direct descendant of the original company. All claim the heritage of the Fairbanks Morse and Company: Fairbanks Scales is a privately owned company in Kansas City. Missouri, that manufactures the scales. Fairbanks Morse Engine(FME) A subsidiary of EnPro Industries, is a company based in Beloit, Wisconsin, that manufactures and services engines. Fairbanks Morse Pumps is a part of Pentair Water in Kansas City. Kansas, and manufactures pumps. In the late nineteenth century. Business expanded in the Western United States, as did the company's catalog. It grew to include typewriters, hand trucks, railway velocipedes, pumps, tractors and a variety of warehouse and bulk shipping tools.
