NOTE. What you are buying: I bought these items at an estate sale. I have no way of checking them for function and can just describe them as I see them. I have taken a lot of good photos for you to use to evaluate your bid. I have pointed out the problems that I can see, but that may not be all that is wrong with them. Please buy these as'donors' to be used for parts that you may need and knowing that they probably do not work. This item is an AMERICAN BOSCH magneto marked ZR4 ED34. What I can see wrong with it is the non-conductive block is cracked at one mount bolt and the case has been patched. I don't know what the drive coupling should look like so take a good look at the photos. Again. For parts only. I will mail this priority mail in a medium flat rate box for $11.30. Thanks.

It is made with the higher quality brass posts inside rather than aluminum. Is probably for an agricultural/industrial/marine engine application. very well made.looks like for a Delco distributor used by Oliver 4 Cylinder tractors.It looks identical to the Delco 18-5385 cap also used by Mercruiser. American Bosch MJA4/2C-108 magneto
Up for auction is an American Bosch MJ4/2C-108 magneto. I know not what this fits. It has a 4 cyclinder cover but only fires on 1 and 3. If you take the cover off it appears as if 2 and 4 ports have never had brushes installed in them. The MJ4/2 must have something to do with how it fires. I think this is for an old 2 cyclinder tractor.Itis base mounted and the screw holes are good. This Mag is very HOT and would be a good unit if you can figure out what it goes on. here is a sharp looking American Bosch MJC6C-101 base mount 6 cylinder counterclockwise magneto. It has been completely disassembled. Washed, blasted, primed and painted with chassis paint. Bearings washed and repacked, has new condenser and gasket and recharged magnets. It has been professionally bench tested and is good and hot as it should be. Has the numbers(3580B) and(SPA22B) stamped on top, 4-58) stamped on bottom, and(500) stamped on edge of flange. 2. Small one has an(S) AFPK16) and(N524) stamped on top, F2) on bottom, HG79 50-1c) on one side, and(240 1) on other side. The DIESEL Emblem is 9-1/4-in. long. 1-1/4-in. high and weighs 1/2-lb. It's made out of heavy Duty Cast Aluminum and in very good condition. There are 2 threaded holes in back, 1-behind the D, and 1-behind the L. Both of the feeder pumps were re-built over 6 years ago and never used. They have been sitting on shelf. The plungers un-screw and pump smoothly with a vacuum or suction type feel. they are complete and appear to be in original condition with the red plastic caps and plugs still in place. You are looking at a professionally rebuilt American Bosch MJH 4 cylinder magneto. This magneto series was originally manufactured as a universal replacement magneto for many different brands that wanted an upgrade to the more expensive but supposedly more reliable. This mag shows that fine German engineering Bosch was known for. Everything is there and intact. The magneto throws a nice hot spark. The cap is in very good shape with no cracks. I check these magnetos over completely top to bottom. Everything comes out and everything goes back in if it matches the specifications. For sale is complete non-working American Bosch MJH series magneto. This was a universal fit mag back in the day and would fit serveral makes of tractors. As I understand it these units were state of the art in performance and durability. This unit is in good overall condition inside and out. The impulse drive is not worn and it probably would spring back to life with a new condensor and the points cleaned. It is weathered. But thats the way I got it- it has been on the shelf in the shop since 1986. Please see the photos. Model# MJH4C302. Made in May 1948.
