For auction is a used and seller refurbished HP 6299A DC power supply rated at 0-100VDC and 0-75A. The unit has been load tested and ripples measured. The current limiting potentiometer has both coarse and fine adjusts. As seen in the accompanying photos, the voltage could go up to 132VDC and current could reach 0.9A(although not both at the same time and I would not recommended using the power supply much above manufacturer's specs) Two defective electrolytic capacitors have been replaced. The ripple is below 2mV(see oscilloscope photo) The meter switch contacts have been cleaned and works well. Although no longer offically supported by Agilent, in practice there is plenty of support available for this. Agilent will still calibrate it, there is the Agilent/HP Yahoo group and the Agilent VNA forums. So if you find you need help, you will have far more support than with Anritsu or Rohde& Schwarz. The auction includes the 85046A S-parameter test set- not the cheaper transmission/reflection test set. The S-parameter test set is much better than the transmission/reflection test set. As you can inject a signal into a 2-port device from either end, without removing the device and turning it around. The S-parameter test test also allows one to do a full 2-port calibration, which is the most accurate ... moreform of calibration. The VNA has option 010 fitted. Which permits measurements in the time domain. This is particularly powerful, as you can look at a specific section in time, then convert that back to the frequency domain. The 4192A LF impedance analyzer performs both network analysis and impedance analysis on such devices such as telecommunication filters audio/video electronic circuits. And basic electronic components. Both floating and grounded devices can be tested. This unit is in excellent shape and includes an HP 16047B test fixture for measurements on discrete components. Also included is a power cord, a GPIB cable, and the technical manual on a CD. I have provided pictures for you to make your own judgment on the physical condition of this item. I will describe the item as best as I can based on visual inspection and my knowledge of the item. Cosmetically everything appears to be in excellent ++ condition with only minor imperfections. The painted enclosure chassis is very clean with only very minor markings. Internally the unit is nearly spotless- extremely clean. Operationally the unit powers on passes the self test when it is initiated. The controls operate and I have tested it with several different passive components and everything seems to work properly and the measurements seem accurate when compared to other instruments. I do not have the expertise or the standardized components to properly test every feature for full functionality as it is a complex instrument but I see no evidence of problems. The unit appears to have had minimal use in a research laboratory. This is a used HP Agilent Power Splitter. I have tested it from 50 MHz to 18 GHz(using a 438A power meter and 2 8485A sensors) and it works just like a 11667A. The part number on it is 5086-7389. I contacted Agilent parts id. But they had no record of the part or what it was used in(not unusual for them) I have an 11667A label I can include if you want it. I had considered painting it(yes, I have some Agilent paint) and putting the label on and passing it off as a 11667A, but that wouldn't exactly be honest, would it?
