Hi All: This auction is for a fantastic vintage Freeman Shoes advertising clock. This great clock is internally lighted and has two painted glass panels. The front one is reverse painted with the a crest with an F in the center the other is painted with the words FREEMAN SHOES. The clock is wood framed and has four feet, so this clock probably would have set on the counter of the shoe store. The clock works great and keeps time. The lettering is some what faded but that is expected with a vintage clock like this one. The clock is about 15 inches across and 11 inches tall and 5 inches deep. This is a French Allo-Stop timer Rouen France. It was used in bars and bistros as a telephone timer. This is hard to find in the United States. The dials are all in French. The top dial is not moving. You can free up the other dials/cogs in the back to make it work. I am sure a handy person could free up the top switch. The reset and start switches work fine.
