It works fine. But the ink reservoir is dried up and I have no charts on hand. If your power company won’t listen to you when you complain that your 60 cycle AC line isn’t up to spec, show them a trace from this baby and they’ll have to listen. Size is 11 x 9 x 9 HWD, weighs 19 pounds before packing. This uses 6 inch diameter circular paper charts marked“TCI 3081 SP24” The chart maker is still in business and has a web site, which eBay won’t let me list here. Nobody has bid on this. Where are the experimenters? Here’s how it works: The chart takes one week to ... moremake a full circle. If you don’t want to buy charts from that company. Make your own with whatever scale you want. The penmotor works on AC or DC– it moves to the right for increased voltage– scale is about ten volts per inch. This can make a record of power usage, switch closures or similar events, even earthquakes if you have the right sensor. I used it to record when our furnace turned off and on. The HP 427A Voltmeter is really a multimeter with the ability to measure AC. DC+, DC- Volts and Ohms. It has a mirrored analog meter. The AC measurements are average responding not true RMS. Prior to setting up for sale this unit was fully tested to confirm functionality and specifications. According to HP service manual. All tests passed successfully; it is in an excellent working condition. Cosmetically there is a sign of the leaked internal battery on the body of the unit( see photo#8) All the leakage was on the metal body of the unit, doesn't affect the work of it in any way.
