Antique Electrical/Steampunk Lot..Electric Pencil, Weston Voltmeter & CDR Rotor
For your consideration is a lot of 3 different antique electrical devices. First item is a CDR Rotor Model TR-11 115 volt made by The Radiart Corp. Indoor antenna rotor control unit. Compass rose on the front and 4 screw terminals on back. The second item is a Weston Voltmeter Model 280 with original leather case. Leather case is missing the front latch and the stitching is missing on one side. Voltmeter shows some wear. Latest patented date is July 1917. Third item is a 6 volt electric marking pencil with original box. Pencil has a wired terminal connection attached to a cloth wire ending with an alligator clip. I have not tested any of the items. They are being sold as is.

This is a Simpson AC voltmeter 300 volts full scale. It is a 2 inch meter. The unit appears to be unused. But it is hard to tell. There are no torque marks on the brass nuts. This item is not working properly. It is sold"as-is" for"SPARES OR REPAIR" only. A Vintage Voltmeter for a radio workshop or similar. Has 2 ranges 0-3V and 0-30V. Plate on front says"Direct Current Voltmeter type BMS" On the rear"REF No. 5G/878" with an arrow. Possible Ex-MOD(Air ministry arrow? The following defects are apparent: Scale glass loose/ rattles. Zero centering screw head half snapped off. When tested on a voltage needle moves but sticks in both directions(to the right and to the left) at a position too low. When voltage removed needle returns to origin. Not currently zeroed. Note the electrical continuity is present and the meter coil is clearly intact as an applied voltage does move the needle on both ranges. Will require some work to repair.
