Knobs turn, levers go up and down, roller at the bottom turns both ways, glass covering the meter is dirty underneath and loose. The two windows at the bottom are also obscure. It is in good overall condition and looks to be complete and all of the dials and buttons seem to work. I was told it was made by Hickok. You will also receive the three adapters that are pictured. I do not have the equipment or knowledge of how to fully test this item but it does turn on when plugged in. You are bidding on a Tube tester#151 by Accurate Instrument Co. with instruction manual in very good condition. 1960 model I think. The lid comes off to allow you to better use the instrument. This deal comes with 3 other manuals. RCA receiving tub manual from 1954 in fair to good condition. Also Tube substitution handbook numbers 14 and 17 from 1971 and 1974. These two books are in very good condition. You will also receive about 20 tubes of different sizes. The tester did work on a few of these but I do not know much about testing them so I don't know if they are good. Some did light up however. I do not know if the instrument is working properly or not, it seems like it is. Any questions please feel free to ask.

You are bidding on(1) NEW Vacuum/Electron Tube Pin Straightener. Designed and manufactured by us right here in the USA. This works with 7 pin miniature, 9 pin miniature, 10 pin miniature, Magnoval, Novar, and Compactron tubes. We modeled this after vintage tube pin straighteners made back in the day. It is manufactured using thick 1/4" FR4 board material and includes two mounting holes for optional bench mounting; measures 2 1/2" overall diameter. The FR4 material, while rigid, is gentler on the tube pin finish as compared to straighteners made out of metals. Please also note that the lack of vertical guides means this straightener may be used with vintage tubes having a small diameter glass envelope as well as newer production tubes which tend to have a larger diameter glass envelope; the larger glass envelopes will not fit older ... moretube pin straighteners having vertical guides however they will work fine with this straightener. This is a tool and like any tool, it must be used with care: do not force a tube that refuses to be inserted, don't put a side load on the tube while or after it's inserted, don't twist the tube while or after it's inserted, don't attempt to insert a tube with severely bent pins, etc, etc. As with all tube pin straighteners. Triplet Tube Tester Model# 3413. Date of manufacture 1950, serial# 2370. Compared it with my Heathkit tester and they checked the same. I don't think it was used much because the tube sockets were tight. Good bench unit for everyday use. Has a cracked glass and leather handle is missing, some rust spots on case. Comes with copy of operating instruction. Tester also has a built in roll chart for test set-ups. Mercury Model 1000 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester - not working properly
This is a great Mercury 1000 dynamic mutual conductance tube tester. I have replaced the electrolytic caps. The diode rectifier, and the lamps. It used to work perfectly, but then suddenly the needle starting pulling backwards with octal tubes. I know this is an easy fix for the right person, but I don't have the desire to chase the problem down when I already have other working testers. Snag this one that has already been re-capped. Find the bad resistor(most likely) and you'll have a great tester for much less than a working one. Comes with the original tube chart and a photocopy of the manual. Complete with schematic.

This model is the last of the KG-600 series, and has sockets for testing the newer 2-pin, 10-pin miniature, Decal, Nuvistor, Novar, Magnoval and Compactron tubes. If you're into the real vintage stuff, you'll also be glad to know it still has the older 4, 5, 6& 7-pin sockets in addition to the standard 8-pin Octal& Loctal and 7& 9-pin miniatures. Normally you set the controls as indicated in the charts and then turn on the tester and then when the tube warms up you adjust the pointer to the LINE mark(halfway) The pointer doesn't move when the tester is turned on and nothing happens when I adjust the knob. When I push the short merit button. The pointer moves to give a condition value, but without the line adjust, there is not way to know how good that value is(as far as I know) I don't know if there is anything else wrong with it. This being the case, I am selling it for parts or repair. In addition. DESCRIPTION: For sale is one used vintage Hickok Model# 752A tube tester. Manufactured by The Hickok Electrical Instrument Company located at 10514 Dupont Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44108. Has a custom black hinged case with rear storage compartment. Front handle, and 2-latches on front; has metal protective pieces on all corners. Exterior measurement of the case is: 18.5" x 17" x 7.25" Weight of case& accessories = 21 lbs 14 oz. Designed only for 115-Volts AC at 50-60 Hz. Serial number under the handle reads: 397-00520. Includes tester unit plus CRT adapter and two small wires with clamps at their ends. See photos. The instruction manual is not included. Also includes. But NOT PICTURED. Is one Sylvania vacuum tube with"6CG8A USA- Sylvania if EZU" printed on it. I do not know what this tube is for other than it was ... moresitting inside the box's rear storage compartment along with the other described accessory wires when I opened it. CONDITION: I powered the unit on and it lights up and appears to function properly; however. Since I'm not an electronics technician, I'm unable to verify if it truly is fully functional. Thus, item is sold as-is with no warranty or guarantee. Note that I did press the Line Adjust S10 button and when I varied the line adjust knob the meter registered accordingly.so that is a good sign. Also, neither of the two fuse lights were illuminated, thus another sign it is functional. There is a perfectly in-tact paper roll chart with various tube data on it(no tears/ no damage to paper roll) I tested it by using the scroll knob located to the right of it on the faceplate and successfully scrolled it up and down without issue. There is a nice white backlight that allows you to read the text very clearly. As noted in the photos. I unscrewed the front metal faceplate(note that 2 wood screws are missing but could easily be replaced) and took a variety of photographs of the electronics inside the unit. Here we have a vintage tube tester in good condition. This tester powers right up and the needle moves. That's as far as I can test. No frayed cords and does not get hot. All switches. Buttons and dials work as they should. The scroll is in good condition and moves from top to bottom with ease. This unit has some scrapes/scuffs and some pieces of the outer covering missing. The wooden case is great as well as the handle/latch and hinges. This unit has been in dry storage and worked well before being stored. Sylvania 219 tabletop tube tester. Serviced, calibrated, tested and working as it should. All switches, controls and tube sockets have been cleaned and/or flushed with a non-lubricating cleaner, all components have been checked and defective components have been replaced and a new power cord installed. The 219 is a Composite Transconductance and Emissions tester similar to the EICO 666/667 and Jackson 648 models, the 219 is the same exact tester as the Sylvania 220, the only difference is the 220 is suitcase tester, overall this is a very decent tube tester to use or to enhance your collection. For a tabletop model this shows very well, there are some scratches on the user panel and some scuff on the top and bottom metal surface, the user panel shows some wear around a few knobs, the wood sides show very well with a only a few nicks and scratches, ... moreone side has some stray paint spots on it- see pics, its rare to find a tabletop tube tester this nice and this is the nicest one I have seen. This is one of the most sought after of all tube testers and was considered the industry standard during its day. The MU150 Continental will detect even the slightest of problems in a tube. It can make four independent tests on a tube: Dynamic mutual conductance test.
