Second, the roll chart has just about every tube on it so you don’t need a separate book. Third it just looks cool. I have tested it with a number of tubes that I have tested out on another meter and the tests all show out true. There is one minor issue though, the“read meter” button could use a little deoxidizing as you have to push it just right to read true. Not a big deal and fully functional without any work but I didn’t open it up as I assume that if you are getting this you probably work on gear yourself so you’ll probably want to open it up yourself anyway. The steel case could use paint but the tester is in very good condition see the photos. This will be sold as is with no returns but it is in perfect working condition. Up for your consideration is a Vintage Accurate Instruments Model 159 Tube Tester and Rejuvenator. The model 159 CRT Tube Tester is especially designed to test both B&W and Color magnetically deflected picture tubes. The model 159 will also indicate when the tube is failing and allows you to rejuvenate it also. The manual is in good condition and explains how to use this thing except I don't understand it. The case is wood and covered with a plastic material or something not sure but the reason I mentioned it was that the covering has degraded on at least 30% of the case. I don't have any tubes to test nor would I have a clue as to going about that test however I did plug it in and turn it on and when I pressed the quality and leak button the light came on. The tester is in good condition and has been tested as working. It should probably be calibrated as most older pieces of test equipment. I tested the unit with several known good tubes and the tester worked. All of the switches. Knobs, dials. And buttons work. The tester also includes three adapter sockets and the tube data booklet. The only flaws I could find is some hardening of the rubber gasket. Some wear to the outside painted finish. And the missing handle. We can ship this item internationally. You are bidding on a Eico Model 635 Tube Tester. This is a very late model Eico tube tester which I had not seen previously. It has sockets from octal up thru compactron tubes. And even has a built in cord with plug to test picture tubes. It has a very complete booklet of testing data with instructions. I tested a few tubes, and the tester worked great. The only deficiency I could find is the the pilot light power indicator bulb did not come on, so must be loose or burned out. That is minor, so it is clean, and ready to use. It is compact measuring just 11 1/2 by 9 1/2 by 4 inches in size, not counting the latches or swing handle. It is a great little tester for someone. Shipping weight is 7 pounds. Up for bid is this vintage Jewell Tube Checker made by the Jewell Electrical Instrument Co. Chicago. ILL. This has serial no.R7933 and is pattern 116 size 5.5x6x3in. I know nothing about this except it was my grandfathers.He used this when he was a television and radio repairman.This was back in the day when things were repaired and not thrown away. Heathkit TTA-1-1 Vintage Heathkit TT-1A tube tester. Auction find. The tester comes to you just as I found it. It comes with everything shown in pictures. The exterior of the box isn't in the best shape. But inside looks great. Manual dated 4/4/69 is in nice shape. Manual dated 8/29/69 shows some water damage. There are other pieces of manuals dated 1/1/66 and 10/1/69. Also includes a Tube Substitution Handbook. This book shows a little water damage but is still in good shape. This tester works excellent and was calibrated less than 3 months ago and I have tested several tubes with it and had excellent results also I had the 12AX7 modification done to test 12AX7 tubes on the full meter scale which is a great upgrade and shown testing a 12AX7 in one photo. The face of the tester is in nice shape except it is missing the 9 pin straightener on the panel but I have included a 7& 9 pin straightener shown in the photos and the outer case is not perfect but nice compared to most I have seen with a few minor scuffs& wear but very solid. The operating instructions& tube data settings manual is also included with the instructions and settings for the 12AX7 full scale mod. You are bidding on one LOT of vintage parts and stuff. This lot includes Eldema indicator lamps. Display bezels, Elpac 12 volt power supplies, an old GE tube tester, and a vintage Analog Devices plug-in. Please see the listing photos. This lot includes 88. Eldema(Genisco) green lens indicator lamps. These are plug-in style indicators with stainless steel pins. The box says part number CF03-GCB-2181. But the lamps are marked CF-B-2181. I don’t know the difference in those part numbers. They came to me in that box. These are labeled“6.3v 200ma” Four sleeves of 25 and one sleeve of 13 = 88 lamps. This lot includes TWO ELPAC modular power supplies. Model WM144-1950-S. These are brick type supplies which provide a single output of 12 vdc at 1.2 amperes. The output cable is terminated in a DIN plug. Both units are marked“shielded” but I don’t know ... moreif that means the brick or the cable is shielded. This lot includes 21 display bezels. Type DMH 23441C-02. These are panel mount style and are intended for use with LED or graphics displays. Each bezel has two mounting screws and a protective window made of a thin clear material. I can’t tell if the window is plastic or glass. But when tapped it sounds like plastic. The window dimensions are approximately 24mm X 29mm. The mounting screws are on 36mm centers. This lot includes a vintage GE Fuse and Heater Checker. This unit is for checking continuity of fuses. Lamps, and tube filaments. It does not check tubes for function. This lot includes a vintage Analog Devices amplifier module. I have no information on this unit. It is very clean and appears un-used. These items are in varying cosmetic condition and show the effects of age and normal wear and tear. The Elpac units are new-in-box. Jackson 658 Dynamic Mutual Conductance tube tester
I have several tube testers on auction today. This one is a Jackson 658 Dynamic Mutual Conductance tester. I have gone through this tester and replaced all old school rectifiers with new silicone rectifiers, I have also replaced all out of tolerance Capacitors and resistors as well as the AC cord. I have cleaned and tightened all sockets and switches and calibrated it so it is ready to go. The only thing wrong with it is that about 1/2" of the tip of the meter needle has been broken off& is missing.THIS HOWEVER has NO EFFECT on the FUNCTIONALITY of the METER. THIS UNIT HAS THE VERY RARE"POWER SCROLL CHART"push the button and it automatically goes forward or back! The unit itself is in excellent condition. The case is also in good sound condition although the tolex covering is quite shabby though there are no MAJOR chunks ... moremissing. Guaranteed to perform as described. Heathkit TT-1 & TTA-1-1 Vacuum Tube/Valve Conductance Tester
Hey guys. Up for sale is my Heathkit TT-1 Tube/Valve tester along with the rare optioned TTA-1-1 in the top of the lid. This machine is in museum quality condition and works great. The only issue with it is that view finder with the red line has fallen out of the tube rolodex/chart. However with some 2 faced tape. It can easily be reinstalled. The needle does not always fully line up with the Line Check, so I am going to assume it needs to be calibrated. It does line up though once fully warmed up when testing. Other than that this machine is in great original working condition. I however do not have the original power cord to it, but a usable one will be included. Comes with the original special valve manual along with a couple other print off of the original manual and a few other documents. Due to the age of this thing. I am going to assume ... morethat this machine does need a cap or two replaced. However for an experienced tech or a at home person with the knowledge, this would be very easy to do. The machine is 100% original from when built. You are buying a piece of history. If you bought this machine. It is almost absolute Mint condition aside from 2 wear marks on the top edge of the case. Adapter is in good physical condition but untested electrically. Insides look fine; it's nothing but two switches. Sockets, and wiring; so I can't imagine there is anything wrong with it other than maybe needing a socket cleaning. Cables are wrapped with electrical tape. Mercury Model 1100C Tube Tester
Mercury Model 1100C emissions type Tube Tester used and in good condition. One corner is scuffed on the outside box. I recap'd it with new electrolytics. I also made sure it was calibrated using 6L6 and Deoxit all switches. Didn't use it for a year since I purchased a mutual conductance type tester. Sold as is. No returns.
