The foam pad in the storage compartment has deteriorated and I removed the remains because it was making a mess. I have no way of testing the unit for accuracy. Unit is in really great shape with no cracks or dents to the exterior. The inside looks great. The exterior plastic is a little dingy looking and would probably be brought back to life with a little Armor-all. As with all vintage electronics. It can test for leakage, emissions and shorts and has two rejuvenate functions with a dynamic intensifier. This would be very handy if you are restoring vintage tube television sets. VINTAGE B&K MFG. CATHODE RAY TUBE REJUVENATOR TESTER #400 w adapter works
Estate auction item. Manual says Model 400 and C40 adapter. All wires and adapter look to be in great condition. Does work. The only thing I saw is the hinges have a little surface rust on the box but should clean up if you need to. Will need a detail cleaning I dont have time to detail all my items. Nice condition, overall, with the case showing moderate wear, including staining, scratches, and a little dust. The inner components appear to have seen little use, and only show light wear. We have no way to test this vintage item, and are unsure if it is complete, or if it comes in working condition. Since it can't be tested on our end, we are selling it AS IS! Vintage Accurate Instr. Co. Model 159 Tube Tester & Rejuvenator Circa 1950
Up for your consideration is a Vintage Accurate Instruments Model 159 Tube Tester and Rejuvenator. The model 159 CRT Tube Tester is especially designed to test both B&W and Color magnetically deflected picture tubes. The model 159 will also indicate when the tube is failing and allows you to rejuvenate it also. The manual is in good condition and explains how to use this thing except I don't understand it. The case is wood and covered with a plastic material or something not sure but the reason I mentioned it was that the covering has degraded on at least 30% of the case. I don't have any tubes to test nor would I have a clue as to going about that test however I did plug it in and turn it on and when I pressed the quality and leak button the light came on.
