While they are all technically new old stock. It does appear some of them may have been returns as written on some of the boxes are"fair" or"good" or"weak" The boxes were all mixed up at the auction. To check if each of the tubes had any viability, I tested them on the pictured EICO Model 625 tube tester. I am definitely not an expert on radio tubes but having had the opportunity to buy what appeared to be vacuum tubes in new boxes by the boxful, I figured it was worth passing them on. I checked for shorts, if the filaments would light and I checked for range of merit. I allowed the tubes to warm up before checking it's merit. Most of the tubes I was able to locate the proper roll chart sequence. I do not know if my tube tester is calibrated but have seen the range of merits covering the scale so it should be in the ballpark. I did make the line adjustment often. Only the tubes are for sale in this lot. The tube tester is to show what equipment I used to test the viability of the tubes and is not for sale. He was the original owner, and this Hickok never left his bench. It is very clean as you can see in the many photos provided. Very good case. Cabinet, and presents itself very well. For a little history on the Hickok company: Hickok Jewelry of Rochester. NY was founded by S. Rae Hickok in 1909. In 1945 when Hickok senior passed away, his son Raymond Hickok took over the business. He led the company's expansion as a major manufacturer of wallets, belts, pants, suspenders, cuff links, tie clasps and other men's accessories. Mr. Hickok also developed prototypes of safety seat belts, which ultimately became standard automobile equipment. Tandy bought the company in 1971. Mr. Hickok, who was born in Rochester, was a great-great nephew of Wild Bill Hickok, the legendary Old West figure. THE NOT SO FINE PRINT Add a bit of Class to any shirt! This vintage set has square faces each bearing a square and compass emblem with a blue enameled center bearing a G. Each cuff link has a folding bar construction and is stamped with a Hickok makers mark. Cuffs measure aprox. 1.5 mm each. Item is in very good vintage Condition. Cuffs are in good working order. There is some slight suface scratching and a small nick in one of the cufflinks. Any dark looking spots on metal or rhinestones is due to my lack of photography skill and only a reflection, unless otherwise stated. This does not look like it has seen much use. It was black when I received it. I cleaned it with a bit of silver polish. This listing features an old watch fob chain with an unusual fob. The fob has an embossed P on the"hammered" top. On the back it reads Hickok Quality with the HM maker's mark and"Silver Front" It is unusual as it it is joined on both ends but is open on both sides. I think it is very nice. The fob measures 1 1/8" x 5/8" and the opening is 1/8" The chain is 6 1/4" long. All items I sell are either vintage or antique. So, there may be some less than perfect condition factor.
