Depth = 1 3/8" Cutout Hole Dia.= 2 3/4" Terminals: Length = 3/4" + Marks for positive Condition: Shows signs of used and flush mount bakelite case. There are no dents or cracks. The meter moves. Three Krementz black enamel studs with silver color setting surrounding the concave black enamel centers. Good condition. 3. Three Krementz pearl studs with some corrosion where the metal touches the pearl. 4. Three Mother of pearl. Nice condition. 5. Three dark ruby red Hickok SPRING LOADED studs. Vintage Hickok Model 752 Tube Tester With Manual And Accessories
Here for considering is a vintage Hickok Model 752 Tube Tester. This tester comes with its original manual. And the accessories that were left in the rear storage compartment of the case. I am offering this as-is, because I am not sure if it is fully functional. It does power up, and I did a line test, and it does work as well(photo 3) All the knobs and buttons do function properly. The roll chart is present, and there are no issues with it. It does scroll up and down, with no problems. The tubes that are with the other accessories are untested, so I am not sure if they are good or not. But they came with this, and will stay with it, if sold. Overall, this is in cosmetically good shape. The metal protective corner pieces, latches, etc. do have surface rust. Latches and handle are intact, and do function properly. The case shows wear that ... moreis consistent with age and use, but still in pretty nice shape. Please look over the photos provided, for a better idea of what is being offered, and its condition. This really is a nice tester to think about, and I wish I could positively state if it works or not. If there is another type of test I could do for you on this, please let me know. It may need some adjusting after shipping. The pictures show you when the meter is pluged in and turned on. There is wear to the outside of the box that this beautiful tester comes in. A very nice Hickok 455 VOM in very good cosmetic condition. No chips, cracks or deep scratches in the bakelite case or the meter. No manual, probes or batteries. I tested the DC voltmeter with a 9V battery and it did indicate around its nominal voltage. I could not test the ohmmeter since it requires a 30V battery. The battery compartment is clean with no signs of corrosion. After the measurements, the meter needle won't go back to zero, but I did not want to open the delicate 50 uA meter to check the issue. At any rate it is a very nice and well kept unit that is worth repairing/calibrating and be put into everyday service. Its unusual look makes it a nice display too. The plastic on the meter has a slight yellow tinge to it that is not as evident in the photos but the printing is bright with minimal fading. Note- the 800A tester has the extra sockets to do the compactron tubes(without a separate adapter) It is also one of the few Hickoks that can measure tube leakage on the meter! The tester has been modified to test Plate Current using the diode test points just under the meter. Instructions on how this works included. It is important to test and match idle current when matching power tubes for class B or AB operation. You can test current on any tube. The box top is metal with a cool design that looks like leaves tall grass and rippling water i thought there was a nude figure in it but i can't make it all out. It's probably just a unique design. The design seems to be etched into the metal. The bottom is black bakelite(untested) 3-1\2"x5"x2" tall, there are four round risers on the bottom, please ask if you dont understand. No refunds. No Reserve. Very Rare Opportunity. Here is a very desirable Military TV-10A/U Vacuum Tube Tester. It came from a shop in the San Francisco Bay Area. And works great. I am not sure about calibration though. According to my search on the net. It appears to be very close to Hickok M-1, Military TV-3, TV-7, or Hickok 600. Of course, it has the military quality above a typical Hickok tester. It comes in original metal case, and a pamphlet of tube data. What you see in the photos is exactly what you will get. There is an Operation Instruction on the inside of top cover. Cosmetically great for its age. Top plate is quite good as shown in the photos. All knobs and switches are original and in great condition. Outside of t op cover has scratches. Wear, marks, etc. All in all. Refurbished Hickok 800 Tube Tester - Calibrated-Plate Current Mod-Quick Cal Mod
Refurbished Hickok 800 tester- Calibrated- Plate Current Mod- QuickCal Mod Hickok 800 tester. Case is in good condition but shows some signs of wear& the meter is slightly faded- please see photos. Note- the Hickok 800 tester is one of the few Hickoks that can measure tube leakage on the meter! The only difference between the 800 and the 800A is the 800A has the compactron sockets which this unit does not have. But compactrons can be tested on this unit if you have the CA-4 adapter. The tester has been modified to test Plate Current using the diode test points just under the meter. Instructions on how this works included. It is important to test and match idle current when matching power tubes for class B or AB operation. You can test current on any tube. This tester is the older vintage of the 800 without the voltage set pot- but someone ... morebefore me has added it. And it is solidly mounted and working properly. This tester has also been upgraded so that the clunky adjustment rig R15 for bias and reduced screen voltage can be quickly and easily set. Calibration results- Plate Voltage = 149(nominal 150 +/ 5V) Screen Voltage = 133.3(nominal 130 +/ 5V) Reduced Screen = 56.0(nominal 56v +/ 3V) Bias-39.0(nominal-39v +/ 1V) Bias@22 =-3.0(3.0) Leakage test= pass Filament 6.4(6.3) 12.5(12.6) AC Signal= 2.46V(2.5) Very nice results for this field tester! A Noval and Octal socket saver have been added to ensure the most common tubes test well. A regulated Solid State 83 replacement has been included to ensure stability and long life of the tester. The roll chart turns. But gets tight at the very ends, and is dated 4-1-67, but I have also included all documentation and test data(including some error fixes) that I have for this model on CD so you don't need to use the roll chart, and can preserve it. I have four Hickok Part Number 18575-89 which is R15 on the 800 and 800a models. These are used pulls from working units. Price is for ONE of these. The windings on these are very delicate and I did not disturb the taps for fear of disturbing the windings. They appear intact and measure appropriately but this is an AS-IS no Returns sale due to the delicate nature of these parts. Actual End-to End resistance was measured at- Unit 1- 8.32K Unit 2- 8.31K Unit 3- 8.12K Unit 4- 8.04K Price is for ONE of these. Preference on end-to-end resistance is on a first come basis. Up for bids is a Hickok model 800 dynamic mutual conductance tube tube tester. This Hickok 800 is part of a radio serviceman's large estate I recently acquired. The outer case shows some wear while the tube tester itself is clean and in working condition but at the very least. In need of calibration. To reference the accuracy of this Hickok 800. I tested several tubes on my calibrated TV-7/U. These same tubes were then tested on the Hickock 800 and all tested 7-25% lower. While this Hickok 800 dynamic mutual conductance tube tester is in working condition. It should be cleaned, serviced and calibrated to obtain accurate test results and live up to its potential. Beautifully aged. There is no movement or internal resistor. Case and scale ONLY. The Plus and Negative post cleaned with a stainless steel wire brush. All four mounting studs have been replaced. Original had only two studs and both unusable. Meter manual adjust pin is intact and moves freely. Meter comes with mounting gasket as well. Original as far as I can tell) 4 inches wide. 3 and three quarters high, 2 and 5 eights deep including studs or 2 and 1 eight deep not counting the stud length. Hickok 539B Tube Tester with "Brand New Meters"
I have completely re-conditioned this tube tester to excellent condition. I replaced all the meters with brand new Simpson Meters. Purchased and calibrated from Roger Kennedy at All Tube Testers. The roll chart is brand new old stock in excellent condition. The resistors and caps are new. I replaced the internal tubes. Cleaned all the switches and pots with Caig Deoxit and calibrated the instrument. I installed socket protectors on the two I used most. Installed a new power cord. I cleaned all the metal parts on the case. There is one small tear in the cover, you can see it in the pics. Comes with the manual and accessories.

Looks like it belonged to a family that had a couple of kids and was read many times. A comic in this grade shows some wear. Can have a reading or center crease or a moderately rolled spine, but still has enough appeal to make it a desirable copy. Some discoloration, fading and even minor soiling is allowed. As much as a 1/4" triangle can be missing out of the corner or edge. A missing square piece(1/8" by 1/8" is also acceptable. Store stamps, name stamps, arrival dates, initials, etc. have no effect on this grade. Cover and interior pages can have some minor tears and folds and the centerfold may be detached at both staples. The cover may also be loose, but not completely detached. Common bindery and printing ... moredefects do not affect grade. Pages and inside covers may be brown but not brittle. Tape should never be used for comic book repair; however, many VG condition comics have minor tape repair
