You can see by the ... morepics that the woodwork is in very nice shape and the sewing machine looks like it just came out of the box. The markings are clean and brightly colored. It is really a nice piece of history. This is a Model 66 with the number G6597810 on the plate. It was manufactured in 1919. So it is now 95 years old. I emailed Singer and this was their reply: Our records show that serial#G6597810 belongs to Singer model 66 manufactured on January 2. 1919 in Elizabeth. New Jersey. The 4 droors all work and the tip out droor on the front works as well. There is a key that locks all 5 droors. The sewing machine lifts out and is supported by part of the wooden top. This all works smoothly and correctly. I have not sewn anything with this machine. So I do not know if it works or not. I put a new leather belt on the machine, and the treadle does work good. All of the parts seem to work fine. Local pickup only for the buyer. I live in Sturgeon Bay. Wisconsin. I may be going to Chicago this spring, and I would be willing to deliver this machine if you are not too far out of the way.

VINTAGE SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT221 FOLDING TABLE FOR SINGERS
The item being offered here is a vintage Singer Featherweight 221 folding work table. Probably from the 1940's or early 1050's. It measures 30" x 30" x 2" and weighs about 22 pounds. The top and sides are wood and the legs and hinges are metal. The top has be re-finished as it had some unsightly water stains on it along with some scratches. Didn't completely get the scratches out but overall it came out pretty nice. The side trim has been re-painted also. The legs are the originals. The previous owner did a repair on one of the leg hinges. A screw thing was replaced and it does not fit perfectly. It prevents the hinge part from folding up inside completely and the screw head has rubbed the inside board. It could use some more tweaking to make it perfect. We didn't have the proper type of part it takes to replace ... moreit or we would have done so. It does work and folds the leg back up, just the little gizmo sticks out a little bit. It's still a good, sturdy table to do your sewing on. It has a nice, hard finish on it that will stand up to spills! It is in good working order and should last a very long time! Vtg Miniature Singer Wood Fold Out Sewing Box Original Notions Home or Travel
For your consideration is this Vintage Mini Fold Out Sewing Box by Singer. It's made of wood and opens up to expose many compartments to hold all your sewing needs. There is a convenient carrying handle on top. And there are feet underneath. There is also a drawer that pulls out in front. Inside I found a little zip lock bag containing small scissors, thread, pins etc. which look like they came with the case. The inside looks very clean, like it's never been used. There are a few very minor scuffs on the outside from storage, or moving it around. Our sewing box measures 8 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep x 6 1/4" high when closed. This will be handy in the home, and small enough to take on vacation or up to camp in the summer. Offered for auction is the Hummel figurine Street Singer. Number 131, bearing the number five Goebel trademark. The figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs but there are about four short craze lines running from the sole of the shoe to the base. The figurine is 5.00 inches tall and was temporarily withdrawn from production in 2005. The bottom of the base shows the Hummel number and the Goebel trademark. Sorry, I do not have the original box.
