Vintage Heathkit IPW-17 Regulated High Voltage Power Supply - Load Tested!
This Heathkit IP-17 Regulated High Voltage Power Supply in good working condition. It is a f actory wired unit. Hence the IPW-17 model number tag. Since it was assembled at the Heathkit plant, you can be assured that it was built right and that all solder connections were professionally done by trained technicians. I tested it by applying a load resistor and cranking up the voltage to the maximum at full current(100mA) and letting it run for 10 minutes. It did so with no problem. See the second photo for a demonstration. The Bias and Filament supplies are also working as they should. The cosmetics are pretty good- no scratches to the front panel or either meter. The cabinet shows some use and a little dirt here and there. Both handles are present and solid. The rubber feet have been removed. From a non-smoking and pet-free environment. It's a Heathkit vacuum tube power Meter. Model AV-2 from the late 1950’s or early 1960’s. It's used in very good shape physically with some light general wear. It powers on(passes the smoke test) but does work to read a power output. The tubes do heat up but probably need to be replaced. 8 X 5.5 X 4.5 inches with an easy to read 4 inch scale. I assembled this H27. HeathKit dual 8" Floppy Drive system in 1980 when it was used as part of a personal computer(H11A CPU + H27 + H19 console) at home. It has been in my possession since then, is working, and is in very good condition. I see no scratches, dings, or other defects on the external surfaces but it does have minor, normal, usage scuffing on a few edges and at some of the screw holes. I put it on the bench and checked the sensitivity on 20 meters and it was excellent. The potentiometers and switches are smooth and operate properly. The paint is original and looks very nice. There are only a few very small blemishes on the cabinet top. The knobs and front panel are excellent. The chassis is still very shiney unlike so many of them which show signs of corrosion. Hello! You are looking at a nice vintage Heathkit IM-17 utility solid state voltmeter. It comes in its original case. It is in very nice condition except the plastic hinge is no longer solid. However it still holds the top together. Also. There is a couple of stickers on the inside of the case and an ink written price on the outside of the case. Vintage Heathkit SG-6 RF Signal Generator-Ham Radio test receiver alignment SG6
This is a vintage Heathkit model# SG-6 RF Signal Generator. I received it as part of a large lot of used Amateur Radio and electronic test equipment. It appears to be in good condition and work okay. But because of its age it is sold as-is- it may need recalibration or other maintenance performed. It has scuffs and scratches typical for a unit of this vintage. The only testing I did was to select some frequencies on my ICOM IC-761 HF/Shortwave Receiver, and I was able to hear the output of this signal generator on the Receiver, as I turned the SG-6's frequency dial to match that of the HF Receiver. The SG-6 Signal Generator has a built-in audio tone generator. And it will also accept an external tone or modulation source, or provide output of the internal tone generator for use with other test equipment. Coarse and fine adjustments are ... moreavailable for the RF output signal, and variable level control for the internal tone generator. There are five selectable frequency ranges from 160 kHz to 50 MHz(with calibrated harmonics to 150 MHz. All of the switches and controls move freely. This would be a great piece of test equipment for your Ham Radio or vintage radio repair test bench! A shielded cable for the output is included, as shown in the last picture. Vintage Heathkit HR-10B Receiver Works Great Manual Included
This is a vintage Heathkit receiver and was built from a kit. It works well and even with a short antenna. It pulls the signals in. See photos. It is not completely original. The band switch knob has been changed. Also, the original RCA antenna connection has been replaced with an SO-239 connector. It has the optional 100KC calibrator and this also works great. All of the tubes tested good. The original manual is included. No hum, but due to age, I would recommend the buyer re-cap the radio and perform other refurbishing tasks. It will be packed with all tubes and the calibrator removed. It will be marked so you can reassemble all tubes and the calibrator in the proper sockets.

Heathkit HW-101 Vintage Ham Radio Tube Transceiver (CLEAN - FOR PARTS OR REPAIR)
Available for sale is a very clean Heathkit 3.5-29.5 MHz transceiver. Model HW-101(serial number 18639) This unit is in great physical condition. With minimal wear on the cabinet. The faceplate looks like new! It has always been kept in a dry, smoke-free environment. In terms of aesthetics, they don't come much nicer than this one. This piece of equipment was acquired from a ham who was liquidating some of his surplus equipment. This one of his first pieces of equipment. But hasn't been used for many years. Our tech inspected the unit. And found that it appears to have been modified by the previous owner. Take a look at the pictures for details. It will need a new on/off switch. It receives on 40 meters, but needs an alignment. It currently does not have any transmit output. It is also missing a few screws. I recently picked up several pieces of old ham radio type equipment. I am not a ham operator and am not familiar with how to operate this type of equipment. All of the items I am listing are being offered just as I found them. The items came from a couple of different estate sales that I attended. Some of the pieces are dusty and dirty while others are quite clean. I have taken photos of each item from all angles. Everything is being offered untested and in as is condition. Rare Vintage Classic Heathkit AA-121 Power Amplifier 80 Watt w/Four EL34 Tubes
Rare Vintage Classic Heathkit AA-121 Power Amplifier- 80 Watts of power with Four EL34 Vacuum Tubes- for Repair This is the most sought of the popular Heathkit Stereo Amplifiers of the late 60's just before they came out with their solid state units. I recall building one in 1969 or so that I used in a couple of rock bands when I played Bass Guitar. That one disappeared when I got drafted and worked on nukes in Germany for three years. Very good cosmetic condition with some cleaning required. I brought this thing back to life with the help of a Variac and slowly raising the input voltage. As far as working condition goes. The"A" channel worked when tested. The"B" channel put out a low level hum for a minute or so and then went silent. Upon gently jiggling the 6AN8 for that channel. Loud static came on intermittently. ... moreI turned everything off and took a look at the circuitry. There were a couple of charred wires and a burnt resistor by the EL34 located inside of channel"B" You can see the condition in the last photo. This amp comes with the complete user's and builder's manual. Every single step of mechanical. And electronic construction is in excellent detail and very easy to follow.
