Lot 2. This is a model IG-72 audio generator made by Heathkit. It is in excellent. Condition as seen from the photos. Only a few paint rubs on the case. Front panel is in excellent condition. I tested this generator as seen from the photos. I set the output and compared with a Fluke. It is quite accurate. This covers 10 HZ to 100 KHZ. 1% distortion from 20 HZ to 20 KHZ) Front meter works very well and gives the RMS voltage output, or dB. The can filter capacitors were replaced with two new 47 uf 450 VDC stock. I can email a copy of the manual to the winning bidder. If for any reason there is a problem whether it is with the item. Vintage Heathkit FM Tiger 928 Transistor Radio. A product of the Schlumberger company. I believe it would have been one of their home construction kits. Produced late 60's or 70's but not sure. It has a nice old Fane loudspeaker. I am unable to check its functionality as it requires a 22VDC battery. The original BI22 battery remains fitted but is of course'dead' The other battery requirement is a 9VDV which can still be obtained. Reasonable condition. The metal speaker grill has some tarnish streaks. The aerial does not extend fully so cannot be hinged as it should. It probably can be released but I don't want to risk breaking it. Measures approx. 275 x 145 x 90mm. Sold on a spares/repair basis but it may well work.

Heathkit HW-18 SSB transceiver. 2 Channel crystal controlled. This one is crystaled for 2.7275 and 2.726 Mhz. Not remembering to well but I believe this was the old ship to shore. Looks to me that with little modification this would be a good starter for a 160 meter rig. I did hook it up to my old heathkit power supply and the radio does work. However the power output is a tad low at around 50 watts PEP output according to my Bird watt meter. I believe the output on this particular radio is supposed to be around 90 watts. So I suspect the output tubes may be a little soft. Fairly clean on the outside with some minor scratches. comes with mobile mount. Inside while a bit dusty looks to be modification free. Vintage hand made Heathkit RC servo I got this servo in an estate sale. The guy was a avid model airplane builder. he was also a heath kit instructor. These look to be handmade. HEATHKIT SG- 8 RF signal generator $26 start with NO RESERVE! POWERS UP- tubes 6c4& 12au7 were tested and are ok. Approximate date of mfg 1958-1959 came without test leads- no paper work/ manual but plenty of FREE ones online goes from 160 kc to 550+ mhz Face plate in good shape so are knobs biggest issue is case 60+ year old paint flaking off here and there. But not bad. A few drops of white house paint here and there but should come off easily came from the estate of an EX HAM radio operator who had a bunch of Heathkit stuff. On touching the probe an audible hum is heard. No further tests done and is being offered AS/IS.
