Lokata Synthesized Marine Receiver
Lokata Synthesized Marine Receiver tested and in good working order. The upper left corner of the front plate has a chip as shown in the photos but otherwise is is good condition. The Lokata SRX is a double conversion unit with a 455 kHz 2nd I.F. Plessey SL6440 high level Gilbert Cell mixers are used for the 1st and 2nd mixers. It is enclosed in a waterproof die cast aluminum housing. This is a general coverage unit that covers from 100 KHz to 30 MHz. Plus the 88 to 108 MHz FM band. Receives AM, FM and SSB. It has 10 memories and a clock. Diode switched RF bandpass filters are used ahead of the 1st mixer to provide good out of band rejection. This receiver does not have an internal speaker but I have included an external one. It has direction finding capabilities with a companion DF antenna(not included) Also.
