This is a used McKay Dymek DR 22 general coverage receiver. Intended for receiving am, ssb or cw radio signals within the range of 50kHz to 29.7 MHz. The receiver is designed for use either as a self-contained unit with internal speaker or for connection to an external speaker. The front panel first 4 knobs are used for frequency selection and the selection is displayed on an LED readout. The 5th knob is for fine tuning. It is a variable knob allowing the operator to tune plus or minus 5 kHz from the frequency indicated on the display. The front panel also includes a 3 position mode control with a red LED indicator for AM- USB- LSB. The rear panel has a recessed line voltage switch. an internal speaker switch. Marconi 2018A Synthesized Signal Generator. 80 KHz to 520 MHz. Came from the estate of an engineer. Appears to be working. I do not have the test equipment or expertise to test all the possible modes of this signal generator. I did read the manual and connected it to an oscilloscope. Set it for 80KHz, 1MHz, 10MHz, 100MHz, and 200MHz output frequencies. All displayed fine. Could not test at higher frequency because the maximum response of the ocilloscope is 100 MHz. I could change the output amplitude using the keypad. Then only problem noticed was the power switch. It rotates when turning on or off. It does not effect the operation. You just have to hold the switch to prevent it from rotating when turning on or off. I removed the cover and the switch looks like a standard toggle switch mounted to the front panel.
