This unit I purchased new on March 27th 1994 from Service Merchandise a now defect department store that was in the north east part of the USA. I used this unit for a few years and then stored it in a dresser draw in 1998 and it has been there since till this listing. The unit condition is like new and functions just as it did new 100% I put fresh batteries in it and checked all functions and it is functioning perfectly. Up for sale is a nice functioning Fluke® Model 6060 Synthesized RF Signal Generator which is private branded as a Motorola® Unit. The unit is a fully programmable. Precision synthesized signal generator ideally suited for testing a wide range of RF components from Receivers to filters. Amplifiers, and mixers, etc. This equipment is serial number 3855017 which provides RF output and AM/FM Modulation Input both internal and external on the front panel. I have checked the unit out with my personnel Rubidium controlled Counter. Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer and it is a lab grade functional unit as depicted in the pictures. This ancillary equipment is depicted only to show the Synthesizer output and not included in this sale. The Synthesizer has a carrier frequency range of 100 KHz to 1050 MHz with a frequency resolution of 10 ... moreHz. Its output amplitude is leveled and variable from +13 to-127 dBm in 0.1 dB steps. AM and/or FM functions can be individually selected via the internal 400 Hz or 1 KHz internal oscillators or via an external oscillator. The carrier frequency. Output amplitude and modulation functions are programed via front panel pushbutton keys. The programed values of Modulation, Frequency and Amplitude are displayed in the three display fields. A complete delineation of detailed specifications is readily obtainable from available free on-line downloadable documentation which includes Operation and Service Manuals. Although this instrument is used I have verified that it produces a stable and spectrally pure RF output and responds to front panel frequency and modulation control(see pictures) I believe all digits and LED indicators are operational as can be seen in the pictures. I have also checked output level and linearity which tracks closely with my equipment. I have also done a brief frequency drift test and verified that the drift is less than 0.2 ppm over a three hour period.
