Vintage Turned Wood Door Stop, Dark Finish, Screw in Wall Baseboard, Antique old
This is an old turned wood door stop. This one is dark with a glossy finish. This antique door stopper was popular in the early 20th century and was designed to screw into the baseboard behind the door. It prevents the door knob from hitting the plaster or drywall when you open the door. It is 3 5/8 inches long including the 3/4 inch screw. There are some splits in the surface of the wood that won't affect its use. The rubber tip is hard but will still work. An old door stopper will look better with old woodwork than a new one.
