1952 Paris, tavern memorabilia, "Harry's", "Le Crocodile", La Voile Blanche"
A very successful New York City tax lawyer traveled widely in the 1930's to the 50's. He left much travel memorabilia which I came to own from his daughter's estate. This is like a look back in time. I do not know why these items were saved over the many years. It appears that the gentleman was having a good time in Paris in 1952 and saved these small 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" cards. He visited Harry's New York Bar. And another card has Le Crocodile stamped on one side with La Voile Blanche on the other side. I haven't been to Paris but perhaps you know about these clubs/restaurants. NOTE: this world traveler later would write a classic non-fiction book related to his visits to various drinking establishments.
