Vintage& outstanding original quality set of three(3) PFLUEGER" BAIT CASTING REEL SMALL SPARE PARTS KITS. All three Boxes full of vintage Reel Parts and still in very good overall condition for repair use, from back in the 1950s/60s era when these old school PFLUEGER"TRUMP" SKILKAST" and"SUMMIT& KNOBBY" Bait Casting Reels were commonplace& well regarded by American fresh water anglers. All three(3) of these O.D. green steel SMALL PARTS KITS are well marked on inside lid full-sized, picture contents list for each type of Bait Cast reel, and gives close-up picture& part numbers for most of the various compartment's contents. Dimple style front closure notched lids on all three(3) identical Kits allows lids to be opened on twin back hinges, giving access to the thirty nine(39) small compartments ... moreof course. Most all of the Small Parts still appear to be in proper place within, as well as some"extras" that Grandpa simply added to the Kits over time. You guess is as good as ours as to what all these three Small parts Kits contain of course! Here's a very nice fly reel and spool. Both fully loaded with what appears to be very serviceable fly lines with backing. The reel and spool are both in very good condition with only very minimal wear showing on the finish of the reel. And the reel is excellent functionally; both the drag and retrieve work smoothly and correctly.

Offered for auction is a very hard to find spare spool(only) for a Pflueger 578 DA fly reel. It does not come with the"Star Drag" break nut assembly that holds it on the reel. The star drag break nut assembly on the reel is utilized. This spare spool comes complete. And is loaded with many feet of D acron backing line. This is a vintage assortment of parts for the Pflueger Rocket reel. It appears that four items are missing from the kit: the number 1403 oil cup. The no. 1401 pawl, the no. 1409 line guide block and the no. 1400 double thread shaft. There are eight(8) brass flat springs that are not listed in the lid.
