ANTIQUE FRENCH CLOCK STAND/BASE w/ GARNITURE Antique French clock base/stand with two candle holders. The main piece is approx 5 1/4 lbs. 9" wide, 14 1/2" tall and 5" deep. The opening for the clock is approx 3 1/2" The candle holders are approx 2.5 lbs each. 4" wide, 12" tall and 4 1/4" deep. All three pieces are decorated with porcelain. I was told this is French from the 19th century. It was obviously painted/ re-coated since then. I don't see anything missing or broken on any of the three pieces. I know little about vintage clocks. So please feel free to contact me with any questions or corrections.

Up for auction is this really nice antique Waterbury mantle clock from an estate sale. I do not know how old it is. If it works but saw it at an estate sale and thought it was pretty amazing. Inside the clock is a very old piece of paper that says Waterbury Clock Company. There is glass in the case opens and has glass in the door clear on top and painted on the bottom. The paint is chipping off. I am not sure if everything on it is original or not. I included lots of pics. The nails in the back look really old. The movement is working but keeps slow time, it strikes on a bell and the strike time needs re-setting, both springs are fine with no slippage, looks like someone has replaced the pendulum suspension spring and this maybe the reason for slow time keeping, The minute hand has been shortened or broken, obviously the movement will need work to make it perfect. The movement sits tightly in the porcelain with no back door and no mount to secure it, this would also have to be rectified. After giving you all the defects, in my opinion it remains a beautiful piece and well worth the restoration needed. It is sold AS IS for Restoration. I bought a huge collection of clocks and parts etc from the estate of an elderly clock repairman. This one is a mid 1950s"Kundo" Germany anniversary clock complete spinning pendulum assembly. It looks real good and is complete and has the weights inside the brass balls and is ready to go. Many times these get lost from these clocks after the suspension wire breaks and then they are hard to find. There is more than one length of these. This one has a 3 1/4 inch long center shaft and comes to a point at the bottom and you see in the picture how the wire hooks in, some models are longer. Please check yours before bidding. Beautiful antique mantle clock. This lovely clock belonged to my grandparents. I know nothing about clocks so i have taken lots of photographs but if you want any more information on it please ask. It had a crossed arrows mark on the movement. Which i believe to be the mark of Junghans but please see the photographs to see the mark. The clock measures 27.5 cm high x 22cm across. I don't have a key for it. But if you move the pendulum it does tick and some of the cogs move, but i am selling it as a restoration project or as spares. Up for auction is a Vintage Chauncey Jerome 30-Hour Pillar& Scroll Shelf Mantle Clock for Repairs/Parts. The top of the clock resembles a grandfather’s clock. It has a mahogany veneer case. Pillar, scroll and wooden finials at the top and a base with four feet. The clock has what looks like two pulleys at the top with thread/cords. The clock has a faded label inside with the maker’s name– Chauncey Jerome. New Haven. Conn- along with instructions. It has both its hands, its movement that still winds when the hands are pushed, its brass pendulum, the catch that closes the door and a key for winding. It has a one-piece door with two separate glass pieces. Along with a decorative brass knob with a catch on the inside. The clock measures 32 1/2" tall. 15" wide and 4 1/2" deep. The clock needs some work: The clear glass at the ... moretop needs to be replaced. The reversed-painted glass at the bottom has what looks like a stencil design. And has broken evenly and the pieces fit quite well. The image has a musical feel to it. The metal dial needs to be put back in place. Some pieces of the veneer on the front are missing in a few places. There is a hole on the bottom of the clock that appears to be the shape of the wood. A finial is missing in the center at the top. This is a very nice and very old antique mantle/carrige clock made in the late 1800's to early 1900's and fully intact and keeping excellent time.I have serviced the workings with some minor cleaning and adjustments to set speed and make the chime function on the correct marks and proper number of strikes.There is a marking on inside of 136 twice on both the back plate and inside front plate.This was made in New York New York by the Ansonia clock company.I believe it could be a"Chester"or"american"but not sure.I have seen many with lions on the side but very few with rams.There is a date on inside back cover written in pencil that is 5/9/62.This could be the build date but I doubt. As in may of 1862 or a cleaning or service date of 1962 being more likely. I am a very handy person and can fix just about anything ... moremechanical if given the time.I do not claim that I am a professional clock repair person but it is working great and it was not at purchase.The clock may have been repainted many years ago or at least touched up in the past but shows little or no rust but some haze is evident from wiping or cleaning and just being handled over the century plus of it life.I tried to photo all the inner workings,yes the clock is running in the photos because I have been running it and adjusting the speed to make it a reliable quality heirloom piece for your home that you can rely on for your timekeeping needs.My research has led me to believe this was for export but some were available for domestic sales but usually with lions heads.Please dont hesitate to ask questions, I will answer to the best of my abilty ASAP.I would list with more photos but there is a 12 photo limit,but I can send additional photos to you by request.This clock is solid cast iron and brass workings so this is a heavy shipping item and would prefer to ship UPS over USPS but will still leave the option.Thanks for looking and hope to sell to soon. this is an exquisite vintage Art Nouveau silver plated over solid bronze mantle clock. it is extremely heavy and sits on a rectangular solid black marbler base. it depicts a very ornate winged fairy lying on her stomach with hands propped on her chin and her detailed wings hold the large clock base. the clock has a wonderful casing with a solid finial and large threaded backing. the quarts face has a wonderful bubble shape. it has black arms with roman numeral numbers. the silver is still completely present and has a nice tarnish that can be shined up if desired. very heavy and measures 7 1/4 inches tall by 7 1/4 inches long by 4 1/8 inches wide. the clock works great. This is an antique SethThomas black mantle with top and bottom areas in adamantine marble finish/ the claw feet. Double pillar top&bottom caps&the side lions heads in a copper color that have aged with time to an antique patina finish/ has ornate brass bezel that is thick, heavy with embossed design&orig. glass. the dial rim¢er piece is embossed, the dial has nice bold numbers, the background was originally shiny but shows wear w/highs&lows in the shine and has turned light brownish yellow w/age but has to be looked at close to notice.what is noticable is the areas w/brown stain(pic#2) but is not offensive, overall antique. The co. name'SethThomas'is printed under the 12 and at bottom is: Manufactured in the UnitedStatesOfAmerica' the S/F regulator shaft is below the handshaft.the solid brass bezel is hard ... moreto push closed but will close but then is hard to pull open so is better left open. Pushed up close to the dial rim. The movement was serviced late last year- cleaned.Oiled,mainsprings lubricated and any needed repairs were done to put it into good running order. has been regulated for timekeeping and stays within 1-2 minutes until end of week when it drops 3-5 min. as the mainsprings are nearly unwound, this clock will run 9 days but the time loss is much more by then/ has its orig. ST pend. and a replacement double end key for both shaft areas/ the hour strike has a deep, resonating sound and the half hour has the passing strike on a brass bell. The case measures 17" long x 12" high x 7 1/2" deep.the case condition is really nice and the pic's don't show it that well/it has 90% of its orig. shine. Of course there are little imperfections here&there, a thin line crack to the left of dial but is around the corner and is not that noticable unless pointed out- these are minimal for this clock, 80-90 yrs old. selling as is described and shipping is $30.oo.Any Q. Up for auction. A Vintage C Jere wall sculpture or Mantle piece. This is a super piece. 3 Sulky Jockeys with Horses racing and Trees in the back round and the rail. The detail is outstanding. This is a very big piece, 61-1/2 long by 12" tall. It is of brass and copper and weighs 24 pounds. It is signed. I am not sure of the exact age, But i feel it is from the 1960,s/ 70,s. This is a great investment quality piece. I feel the pictures speak very well on this piece. I am no expert by any means on Jere, So please ask any questions you may have.I have tried to find one like this on the internet, But have yet to see another. Shipping for USA only.
