HP 334A Distortion Analyzer This HP 334A Distortion Analyzer has been an excellent. Accurate and reliable piece of test equipment on my work bench for last 8 years. It has had no problems at all. It is very useful for accurate calibration, adjustment or analysis of amplifier characteristics and behavior(setting bias. Making circuit adjustments, prototyping, designing, troubleshooting, etc. All functions work properly on this unit. Although the spec says that it measures harmonic distortion down to 0.1% from 5 Hz to 600 kHz. The analyzer is capable of measuring down to 0.03% I have actually seen this when probing a Class-A vacuum tube amplifier with the filter switch applied and an originating signal generator producing a very clean sine-wave injected into the circuit! Please note that this auction is for the HP334A Distortion Analyzer and ... morenot the Tektronix oscilloscope shown in the photo. The oscilloscope in the photos is being used to demonstrate that the HP334A is in good working condition.
