I had left the set in storage and had placed the extra chair seat sitting on edge upon it. This may improve on its own- or not. However. The original owners had bought an extra seat. Vintage 1950's Formica Chrome Kitchen Table 60's Retro W/ Leaf MESCO mid century
This is a vintage mid century chrome and formica table. It is about 46 X 30 inches and has a 12 inch leaf. It looks to be made by MESCO and is in nice condition. There are a couple of very small spots on the top that could most likely be remove. I have not cleaned or altered the table in any way. Its all original. I have mad a special crate/ box for it to ship in with the legs removed. They are super easy to put back on. I will pack this table well and ship it for $85. Thanks and good luck.

Retro 1950s 50s Mid Century Kitchen Dinette Set Formica Table w leaf & 4 Chairs
I have up for sale a fabulous 1950s Dinette Set. The table was made by WALTER OF WABASH. Comes with one extension leaf and has a faux wood grain formica top. The chairs were made by Kay-Mar Industries Inc- Cassopolis, Michigan. I purchased the set direct from the original owner who told me, her and her husband purchased the set sometime in the 50s. The table has unusual legs that have a weaved pattern at the top corner section. The legs are copper colored steel with a brass toned metal weaving pattern on the corner sections. The top is is superb condition- it has a faux wood grain formica top and one matching leaf. The table minus the leaf measures approx 47" long by 35-1/2" wide. The leaf is approx 11-1/2" wide- 35-1/2" long. The table is in great shape- no damages and any wear is modest. The chairs are in excellent condition! ... moreI would say that they are slightly smaller than normal sized chairs- sturdy but not necessarily for a real large person in my opinion. The stand 31" tall. The backs approx 16-1/4" across. The seats are approx 15-1/2" wode- 14-1/4" deep and from the ground to the top of the seat is approx 17-1/2" I am not sure of the material of the seats but something on the order of vinyl. No rips,No tears nor any punctures to the seats. Some very modest light wear but overall excellent shape. I am calling this a set but the chairs were not made by the same company as the table. The chairs were made by Kaymar Industries Inc and the table by Walter of Wabash. The old gal that I purchased this from took fantastic care of everything see owned. And overall the set is in superb shape for its age. Any wear is very minor. You will not be disappointed. I will not ship the item myself. If you want to arrange a shipper to pick it up from me that is fine, but I would want payment directly after the sale and you can take care of the shipping on your end. This retro vintage table from the 50s or early 60s is in very good vintage condition. The legs have a few very small nicks but no damage or nothing that will affect the structure. The top Formica laminate top shows no imperfections that I can see. It is in blue robin egg teal shades with grey veining and has the typical swirled and marble design of that era. The edge is a chrome finish attached well with screws and also in excellent vintagcondition. The four wooden legs are danish style and have new caps on the bottom. The table is very sturdy and will be great for a kitchen corner or small apartment or any other place in your home. It is a standard height of apx 29 1/4" tall and the top is apx 29 3/4" by 20 1/4" The bracket that holds the legs has two holes that you can adjust the angle of the legs.
