The 3740 has a small crack in the plastic covering the display but the display is not damaged. It also makes a high pitched tone when powered on and indicates that a download is needed. Verifone Vx510 Credit Card machine (possible BAD RTC CHIP error }
The units started to give out BAD RTC CHIP error once in a while. Since it became unreliable. We had to get a new one fast. Right now it is working but I believe the internal battery is going out and it needs to be replace. The unit comes with power supply and phone wire. Other than the error, everything else always worked great. Card reader is in great working condition. Never had other problems. Unit is as is and the error needs to be fixed and the unit needs reprogramming. It was programed with elevon.
