Quad of RCA 6L6GC Black Plate Power Tubes for Extras
This auction is for a Quad of RCA 6L6GC Black Plate Power Tubes for Extras. They each have black plates. A side round getter and are in good clean condition with test results below. These are used vintage MADE IN USA tubes by RCA. All test at minimum or just below for emissions, but all test good for DMC, Dynamic Mutual Conductance, and all have slight leakage. All played well in a Twin Reverb but I would recommend these for spares though they can be used in an amp for playing. Some browning of the flashing has occurred, see the pics below. Tubes are checked for filament, shorts, Leakage, DMC and emission value. Minimum emission and DMC is 70 and max is 130. These tubes passed all tests. Excellent deal on a 1 meter pair of Audioquest Quartz X3 Hyperlitz interconnects. This pair is in great condition. Single owner, and have had very lilttle use. Constructed from three 22 AWG solid FPC-6 copper conductors, foam polyethylene insulation and polypropylene fillers, a 22 AWG solid silver-plated LGC copper drain wire enclosed in a foil/mylar/foil shield, and a midnight blue PVC jacket with gold-plated slim RCA connectors. Fender Vibrosonic Reverb (Twin Reverb, but 8 ohms!!) RCA power tubes Head cab
Fender Vibrosonic Reverb 100 watts with pull boost master volume.1975 as close as I know. The Vibrosonic is identical to the Twin Reverb. Except it is 8 ohm instead of 4 ohm. So this amp matches up with any 8 ohm speaker, or a pair of 16 ohm speakers wired parrallel. Vibrosonics sold new in a combo cab with one 15" 8 ohm speaker, whereas the Twin Reverb sold in a combo cab with two 12" speakers that were 8 ohms each wired parrallel to give the Twin a total of 4 ohms. This amp is with no issues-was serviced by a 40 year veteran Fender tube amp tech. Approximately 24 months ago. I used the amp(I play pedal steel guitar) with a pair of 8 ohm(plug one into the extension jack) JBL K130 15" speakers in extension cabs, to lighten the weight, and keep the head near me on stage for easy tweeking. There is no foot stich, but the amp is set up so you do not need it. Pre-amp tubes are of various brands. But correct to Fender tube charts. I do have a stash of NOS Jan Philips 6L6GC's if you prefer those over the RCA's, I'll trade them out before shipping. The Philips are cleaner for pedal steel, but the RCA's lend themselves better to 6 string guitar work. The power tubes will be packed seperately and carefully. This amp is set up for clean tone. But if you need crunch, a few simple adjustment by a tube amp tech can voice it for early break-up that rockers and blues players like. As the amp is now, think clean country and nice fat jazz tone. Matched Pair Vintage Brown Base RCA 5881 - Test Very Strong!
For your consideration: A beautiful pair of 5881 power tubes. These are very clean and strong. Identifying marks and other data described below. These come in their original boxes and basically test as new. I cannot tell if these were used to any extent as the pins and bases are so pristine. I am tempted to call them NOS. But I will be conservative and not make that claim in order to avoid any misunderstanding. The construction of the tubes looks as if they were made by Tung Sol. Tube 1: Date Code: 6717 Heathkit TT-1 Data: gm tests at 1850(min good is 1300) Hickok Data: gm tests at 5000(new=5000) No shorts or leaks. The cardboard sleeve is in E condition. Shows just a little aging otherwise in excellent condition. See Photo) Grading. My grading system for 78 records is the N.E,V,G system. The following definitions for this system are from Docks Record Guides. New(N) Apparently unplayed and showing no signs of wear. Excellent(E) Showing only slight wear. Playing surfaces still retain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal. Very Good(V) Somewhat more worn than an excellent record, Slight grayness appearing in the grooves. Especially in louder passages. Still a fairly clean and acceptable copy. Surface and extraneous noise is noticeable. But does not ... moreoverwhelm the music. Good(G) A misnomer. A“good” record is really not so good. It shows considerable wear and usage. Grayness in the grooves, Random mars and light abrasions from a sleeveless existence. Surface noise is prominent enough to impair enjoyment of the music. Fair(F) and Poor(P) indicate the lowest grades of the condition code. Since only the rarest records would be saleable in these grades. They appear infrequently. Plus and minus signs are often suffixed to above grades to indicate a somewhat better or worse grade. When appropriate. Packing& Shipping All records are professionally packed. I use oversize new boxes. I tape two cardboard mailers. One on each side of the record. Hey. Thanks for checking out this listing. This is a 45j2 Victrola 45 RPM record changer. I believe this was introduced to the market in either late 1949 or early 1950 as one of the new models made to play the newly introduced 45 RPM discs. It was meant to be connected to a pre-existing radio or 78 RPM phonograph by its audio cable(RCA cord, the one still widely used today! I will try my best to describe and assess the condition as well as possible. I found this unit recently and took it home. To find it was totally dead. Would not power on, would not spin, and I couldn't even move the arm by hand as it was stuck in place. I opened it up to tinker with the innards, made a few adjustments on a few things, etc. everything looked really good on the inside- not perfect, but unusually good for something of this age that has not been restored. ... moreAfter putting it back together I plugged it back in, and she was spinning, but still had issues with the arm movement and reject mechanism. Made a few more internal realignments, and after that she was running rather beautifully. The turntable was running on speed, the arm lift mechanism was smooth and well executed, and the disc reject button worked perfectly as well, very smooth, no jamming of the blades or anything. All the wiring is original, the power cord, audio cable, etc. the only thing not original on this is the cartridge and stylus. Which I replaced. There are a number of new replacement cartridges available in 2013 for this model. Some less expensive than others. I however ordered the BEST one for this model, in my opinion. I found many that are just modern cartridges retrofitted for this antique record player, the one that I installed is the only one that faithfully performs like the original would have. It also has the benefit of tracking much lighter and thus, causing much less wear on your valuable records. The original cartridge was meant to track in OUNCES as opposed to grams. Record Label, RCA Victor, Artist, Multiple, Record Condition, VG, Sleeve Condition, G, RPM, 33, MINT(M) Perfect! This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer. With NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains. No stickers address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits. No wear to the cover or record period! Age of the record ... morehas nothing to do with it. NEAR MINT or NM. M- this record appears virtually flawless A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw is very hard to see. The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age. Minor impressions to the cover(due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside) may be acceptable. However the artwork is be as close to perfect as can be. EXCELLENT or EX or VG++: minor scuffs which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs and NO Scratches COVER: Artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. Some impression to the cover(minor outer ring wear) but no ink wear! Some slight creases to the corners. But not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. The corners can show white(where the artwork pasted slick was) meaning, slight wear. No seam splits or writing on the cover or taped repairs can make this grade. VERY GOOD PLUS or VG+ record shows wear. Surface scuffs. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. If the flaws don't cause any surface noise, the vinyl can still make the VG+ grade. C

All packages are properly addressed- your address is copied directly from your Paypal accoount. Pasted to paper then taped on the package. I cannot make a mistake in addressing your package(unless you made the error yourself! My return address is always on the parcel. Records are removed from their respective sleeves when packaged.
