Here's a really cool piece of depression glass. It could be part of a canister set. A cookie or candy jar. It is pink in color and measures seven inches to the top of the finial and is six inches in diameter. I'm just learning about glass but this one matches the Optic or Manhattan pattern. Not sure who did Optic, Manhattan was done by Anchor Hocking Glass Company between 1938 and 1943. The rings are rounded and not sharp if this helps. This was part of an estate the we received. A lot of items had never been seen for 30 years. Some of the newspaper that had been used for packing material dated back to the early 80's, that was just the last time they were packed up by a later generation and stored.
