This one-piece rod tapes out to 63 1/2" and is in excellent+(or better) condition. Showing a few light scuffs. It is model 953 and is rated for 6 to 12 lb. line. The original guides and wrappings are also in excellent + to near mint condition. It was made in the USA and has serial number: P 135809. I tried to show the serial number in the last picture. But it is hard to see. Recommended lure weights are 1/ 8 to 5/ 8 ounces. Though not given. It feels like a medium/fast taper with a medium to heavy action. The original butt cap is nice. Cortland PFR 2000 5pc fly rod in great shape. This is a fiberglass rod with tip over butt ferrules. Likely made by St Croix for Cortland. All 5 pieces same length. On rod says"Cortland madi in USA PFR 2000 7'1-650-1 Recommended For Line 6 Rod Weight 3 oz" Come with tube, I suspect the one end cap is not original, and a sock. Tube has some tape goo on it. Rod is wonderful, with very slight soiling to grip, does have previous owners name nicely engraved into reel seat(see photo) I have used this rod here in NW Montana and can assure you it works well and has good fish mojo! Has cool spring loaded reel seat that works well. I have used this rod here in NW Montana with a 9wt line for pike and bull trout and can assure you it has good fishy mojo! Comes with G Loomis tube and sock. Rod is overall in good used shape, with normal scratches etc. Wraps and guides all solid. Cork is starting to ridge and wear a bit. Ferrule fits securely. Fiberglass Fly Rod 7'0", 4 Wt., 2 Piece
This rod was built about 12 years ago by a former fly shop owner in Mt Horeb. Wisconsin. It is built on a blank that was either a Fisher or Sceptre blank. It fishes best with a DT4F line, but will handle a WF5F as well. Very nice rod, casts well, no damage. Comes with the green rod bag in the pictures, but no case. Will make someone a great rod for small streams with lots of cover. I bought it new from the man who built it and have fished it perhaps a half dozen times.

Here is a very nice Fibes Fiberglass kit from around 1977 CF Martin era.probably the height of their popularity. The kit has some not too common sizes. 22x14 kick. 13x9 rack tom, 14x10 rack tom, 16x16 floor tom and the Matching 5.5 snare In excellent shape. Especially for the age, mounting hardware works great, has the spring loaded bass spurs also work great. Showroom new? no. The only thing I call Showroom new.is when it is in the showroom, but these are clean and original, no mods etc, and a lot closer than you might think, very minimal wear. Finish is nice and bright. Chrome is clean, heads are NEW on the toms, recent on the snare, and recent Evans on the kick. Really all to do is set them up and play.and can they rock. Very nice old combo- as found condition- could use a cleaning- click works but I don't know enough about this item to say everything works properly. The reel turns forward and backwards- I thought it should have some type of anti-reverse. But then again I don't know. Both glass' on the end caps are in good condition as are the handles. I could find no ID on the rod- 54" overall length. Cork handle with plastic end cap on cast metal handle. The rod itself is fiberglass with all metal guides- everything is in good condition and shows normal wear for its age- worn paint, nothing broke or damaged. Marked on the interior 19-6-93. I believe this to be the date of manufacture. Chrome hardware holding head in place does have scrapes around the entire perimeter, see image 5. White body has some black scuffs form the rubber on the stand and other rubs and scrapes from being used and transported. I see what appear to be two cracks in the white. I have no way of getting my head inside to see if they go all they way through. They are very tight and not opened ... moreat all. See images 11 and 12. Drum measures 30" tall. 39" tall on stand. The Rod Serial Number is M 087493 which means it was built in 1974-1975. The Description and Fenwick Eagle Decals are in Perfect Condition. Other than that, the rod is in really nice shape. I think this rod belonged to my Dad and it has just been in storage for years. I just moved and finally had to clean out. The shop owner I spoke with actually suggested that someone might want to shorten the rod a little more; possibly just below the highest guide. For auction is a used. Vintage fiberglass fly fishing rod by James B. Walker of Newcastle, U.K. The rod is 8 1/2ft in length. Is 3 pieces and is suitable for Trout fishing. It features an agate lined tip and back guide ring. This is a vintage rod that has been fished, and has some discoloration of the cork and metal components with minor blemishes along tip and mid sections. There is no idication of a model series, but it has a moderate/slow action suitable for Trout fishing. It would be a fun rod to fish dry flies with, or a great piece for vintage fiberglass tackle collectors. Rod comes with original cloth sock. Beautiful Shane Gray of Graywolf Built Mcfarland Fiberglass Fly Rod 6'6" 4wt 3pc
As you can see from the photos. This rod has barely seen any use. Very slight soiling to the cork and not a single scratch anywhere on the blank. This is a very sweet 4wt fly rod though it will also cast beautifully with a 3 or 5 weight line. This rod was put together by Shane Gray of Graywolf fly rods and it is evident of his amazing work. Unsanded yellow Mcfarland fiberglass in a three piece configuration with yellow glass spigot ferrules. If you are looking for a Mcfarland rod you know that the waiting period can be extensive. The decals are very nice. The wrappings and guides are tight and original. The only thing I could find was some minor discoloration of the butt of the handle, as you can clearly see in the photo. cortland crown 8' 4 oz fiberglass fly rod very good condition
This is an 8' Cortland crown fly rod. Weight is 4oz. And it is recommended for 7 or 8 weight line. The rod is in very good to excellent condition. It has a nice reel seat. All eyelits are good and threads are nice and sealed. The original sock is included. The original case as well. The case has a break in it(see pic) There is a name written on the rod. Other than that. No other changes to original condition. It has never been broken or repaired. Shipping of fly rods is tough to do and expensive. I am going to cut and make a triangular box to enclose the tube as I can't find a tube long enough. The last rod I shipped was over 20.00 to ship. I put 20.00 on it from estimated cost. fenwick ff756 3 1/4 oz. fiberglass fly rod very good condition
This is a very nice fenwick 7 1/2 foot fiberglass fly rod. Weight is 3 1/4 oz. made for 6 weight line. The reel seat is good and tight. All eyelids are real nice. Never been repaired. The rod has the original sock. It also has the original case. But the top of the case is missing. I will tape a triangle of cardboard over it to keep rod safe in shipping. This will make a nice rod to use for fishing. Shipping is estimated at 20.00. Rods can be expensive and tough to ship. As I have learned. If I can get it to you for much cheaper, I will issue some money back less a small amount for making box, etc. The last rod I shipped was more than 20.00 so this could be a bit of a shot.
