Early Vintage TURNER BRAZING Blow TORCH Very UNUSUAL Antique SOLDERING IRON tool
This is for the vintage. Antique BRAZING TORCH you see here. Made by TURNER in CHICAGO. Not sure the age. I suspect over 100 years old, but that's just a guess. In nice shape. You may wish to clean it up some, but it displays very nicely this way. All moving parts move, I believe, except for the black knob, which I did not force. I imagine it will be easily loosened, but I didn't attempt it. The pump moves freely but will need a new rubber washer/gasket if you plan to get the torch to work. I do not know how or if it works. Will be packed with extreme care to avoid any damage. I do not know a lot about these things. I am open to reasonable offers. Please look close and be sure to ask whatever questions you may have.

Harris Model 16 torch body with Victor Harris Model H-16 E Brazing Torch
I am selling this Harris Calorific mixing chamber and brazing torch. The oxygen and acetylene knobs are smooth and turn free of obstruction or loose play. Even with thick gloves on. They are easy to operate. As a quality American made torch, it is well balanced and has a decent weight. I use a variety of different torches in my shop and if I recall, I used this one in particular to do some lead work on a an older Buick Electra 225 and a Mercedes Ponton. It performed very well and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone, novice or pro. I am installing new o-rings prior to shipping as a courtesy to the new owner. This is a high Temperature Torch for welding.Brazing, cutting. The torch mixes two gases and gives you a 5000 degree flame. Please research if you need such an item and please research safety guides since a high temperature torch like this can cause severe injuries. What you see in the Pics. is a gas cylinder and an air proof chamber. When you place one of the Oxygen candles(you get 2 lbs) and light it up, it lets go of pure oxygen that mixes with propane to give you a demon flame that will melt anything in a second. The actual torch has 2 hoses which can also be adapted to work with regular tanks. you would have to get another gas adapter to use it that way. You Get an extra brass tip and a lighter as pictured. This mixer and tip are not seen on EBay very often. I do not have a tank to test with. It appears to work ok. I hooked it up to my air compressor and the valves would control the air flow. On or off. The trigger also controls the air flow when the trigger is closed. The trigger locking mechanism works fine. The tip I saw on Goggle showed the 2 tips sticking straight out. I would assume the previous owner bent them to fill his need. Wear for being a used item is not excessive. Some tarnish and a few scratches. But not at all bad. Questions. Comments, concerns. Craftsman Brazing and Welding Torch Outfit
This is a Craftsman Oxygen/Mapp Gas Brazing and Welding kit from Sears. My old boss sold this to me used. I NEVER used it. I was just a little to skittish to try it out. He used it numerous times and as far as I know it works fine. Has everything in it that he sold me. With the flint starter, extra flints, several brazing/welding rods(small about 10" long about 5-6) the welding glasses(like sun glasses but you can't see through them(as it's supposed to be) and the two tanks- an Oxygen tank and a Mapp gas tank- likely both empty but exchangable if you know where. I never used this item so never replaced the tanks but I think you can even buy them at Sears still or even maybe Wal-Mart's hardware department. This is used. I have NO idea how it works so never tested it. Being sold as is.relatively cheap. Just clearing the shed ... moreand time to get rid of things I don't use- never did. This is just one of those things. Buy it now or best offer. Can't find this anymore though I know Sears sells Craftsman parts and if you needed you could find them at any Sears store- though this worked when my boss used it so why you'd need them I have no idea. And there are newer versions that range in price- starting in the mid $50's or $60's. This one is not even close to that price. Buyer pays shipping. Ships only in the continental United States.
