19th century brass antique lighting pipe tube for a gas chandelier fixture lamp
Up for auction is a antique gas lighting pipe tube part. This pipes/tubes was recently discover in the attic of a house with other lighting parts. I am not sure what happened to the rest of the fixture. These are great for restoring a gas fixture or modifying. Commonly used to drop the height(incresing the over length) of a gas chandelier. I have not polished it and only wiped them from dust. I have not removed any of the original patina. This pipe/tube can be bent. Cut, threaded, welded, etc. It is made from brass(possible bronze or tin with a brass finish) and measures 11 7/8" inches in length. With a outside diameter of 3/4" inches. Original Detroit 25 Dodge Chevy Car Truck Brass Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Engine
This is a rather hard to find original Detroit Model 25 brass carburetor for an early car or truck. I believe they were used on Dodge and Chevrolet but may be used on others as well. I'm sure if you've been looking for one you'll know. It has a 1 5/8 inch intake and a 1 inch opening where it bolts to the manifold. It mounts on a 7/8 x 3 inch rectangular bolt pattern. The top throttle linkage needs to be freed up but with a little elbow grease and some minor cleaning I think it could be useable. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can find anywhere on it. The body is brass and the throttle body is cast iron. The pictures tell the story. The 4" tall(with the plunger mostly screwed in) greaser marked Lunkenheimer Marine No. 1 has a 1/4" pipe thread and is in good condition. There are a few wrench marks on the nut and a few nicks but that can be expected for the age. The 2nd greaser is marked American Injector Co Detroit. It is about the same size as the Lunkenheimer and has 1/4" pipe threads. On the nut is stamped the number 2. The nut does have some wrench marks. Old Imperial Brass Fuel Strainer Tractor Car Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Engine WOW
This is rather hard to find original Imperial brass fuel strainer for an International Harvester McCormick Deering 10-20 tractor. I believe it was also used on the 8-16 and Titan 10-20. And crossmotor Case tractors. It may have other applications as well. It has the Imperial name cast into it and has 1/4 inch pipe threads on one side and a flare on the other side. It is in excellent conditon with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and has only minimal wear as can be seen in the photos. Everything seems to move as it should. It has been bead blasted so there is no dirt on it anywhere and would polish up real easily if you so choose. These original brass strainers are getting tougher to find in the wild every day so if you need one for a project don't overlook this one. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. The second of the three is complete but does not have a brass shield. The third on does not have the glass. All of these 3 smaller ones have good 1/4" pipe threads. One of the 2 larger ones is marked American Lubricator. it has 1/4" pipe threads that are good. The other one is not marked and needs a top nut. This is an original N0.3 POWELLS PAT. SIGNAL OILER. Heavy cast brass oiler and looks to be well built. Has a vent tube. Flat sight glasses are in good condition. Large glass is also in great condition. Still has some old grease stuck to it. 3/8" NPT threads look great but have some old hard grease stuck in them. Some small nicks and wrench marks but is complete and everything moves. Still has the original fill plug. Doesnt look like its been used in years and could use a good cleaning. Small model brass hit and miss gas engine with side shaft and flyball governor
This is a small hand made all brass. Air cooled hit and miss, side shaft, flyball governor, gas engine. The flywheel is 6 1/2 inch and quite thin 3/8 inch actually. It is sort of mounted on a walnut base not finished. It has great compression, spark plug in place I have never tried to fire it. Am going to 2 shows in the next 3 of weeks and can deliver for free, the WAPA event and Wellton, Az if that helps. Not sure what else I can say the builder was in the Midwest name unknown to me. These four sight glasses are all brass. The two with the valves have never been used and have Lunkenheimer stamped on the valve knob. They need gaskets in the glasses. They are in nice condition with no damage. Both have 1/4" pipe threads and are 3-1/2" high. Another glass has 1/4" pipe thread and Lunkenheimer is stamped on the top. It needs a glass and is used and needs a polishing. The fourth glass is marked Essex on the top. The glass is good. The 1/4" pipe threads are good. This needs cleaning also and is 4" tall. Old Tillotson R Brass Cletrac Tractor Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Farm Engine NICE!
This is an extremely hard to find original brass Tillotson Model R carburetor for an early tractor. Car, or truck. It was used on Cletrac tractors and probably several others. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original float in it and the original chamber cover but this needs to be fitted to sit down correctly. The choke moves as it should. It is missing the throttle shaft and butterfly but this should be easy to find or even make. This carburetor mounts with two holes 2 11/16 inches apart on center. It has a 1 7/16 inch opening at that flange. It has a 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 bolt pattern for the air tube. Overall this is a very nice carburetor that should take little work to be usable. Korean War Era Brass Camp Stove ~ Coleman 500 Gas Burner 1952 ~ 1951 Cookset
This is a 1952 A ~ Coleman ~ gas cook stove with a 1951 Military Issue cook set. Both pieces have seen field use. The stove show scuffs. Scratches, a few little dings and one crease as shown. The paint on the crease is solid not chipped and I really wonder if it was just a factory blemish. The tank is brass. I have not tested this unit so I am selling it as a display piece only. I see no reason if it cleaned a little more and was pressurized it would not work. It still had fuel in it when I acquired it from the estate sale. The spider web shaped wire cook top is held on by 4 little nuts. One is missing. There is also a 3 piece military field cook set marked U.S. 1951 Federal Enameling and Stamping Company. Old Brass Bosch DU4 Dual Horseless Carriage Magneto Hit Miss Gas Engine HOT!!
This is a real nice original and VERY hard to find Bosch DU4 Dual magneto. It has an all brass body and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is clockwise rotation and turns over nicely with excellent magnetic pull. It has minor wear in the bearings but will run for a very long time yet. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern. It puts out a hot, FAT, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The only thing it's missing is the points cover which should be pretty easy to find from one of the hobby magneto shops. These DUAL magnetos were used on early autos where the engine was started on battery and then switched over to the magneto. They are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. Old Original Unusual Brass Hit Miss Gas Steam Engine Cathedral Oiler Tractor WOW
This is a very unusual brass oiler that was likely for a hit and miss gas or steam engine. It measures about 2 inches in diameter and 6 1/2 inches long overall. It is in great condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has very minor wrench marks on the hex. It is very ornate and has a very nice style to it. I don't think I've ever seen another exactly like it. It would be a fine addition to your early brass oiler collection. It would also look very neat oiling your favorite engine! This has 1/4" pipe thread, 1 1/8" Diameter& 2" Overall height with 1" Bowl height. I believe the IHC Titan& Famous& probably others used this, I do know for sure, it is a part that is seldom seen. The welding job looks good. The pipe loop on top is steel. The rest is brass. The 3/8" pipe thread is good. The pressure relief valve has stamped on the side Kunkle Valve co. The handle appears to be missing. the 3 rd brass part, a drip valve with 3/8" pipe thread that is good. It has been nickel platted. The valve turns nicely. This is 3-1/2" tall. The 4th brass part is a wooden knobbed valve with 1/2" pipe threads on one end(good ones) On the other end is 7/8" OD fine thread. Detroit Brass Displacement Lubricator Gas Engine Steam Tractor
This steam displacement lubricator is marked Detroit 1 Quart. 2 of the wooden knobs are nice. The third knob has a crack. The short 3/4" d. sight glass has a crack near the bottom. The top bulb has nickel platting and screws into the top nicely. Seeing it is a different color this may have been switched. It is easy to remove nickel plating. All valve turns nicely as they should. The total length is 14"1/4" Notice the solder patch on the side. It looks good but could be smoothed some.
