Original Brass Wico EK Magneto Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Oiler HOT!!
This is a real nice original BRASS Wico EK magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It has MANY applications in the gas engine world. It is in excellent condition for it's age with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The case is in nice condition and not all beat up like a lot of them that you see. A new condenser has just been installed and the magnets have just been recharged. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. This magneto has the STOP button on the front cover which is a nice feature to shut your engine off instead of messing with the needle valve. The roller pin in the bottom of the armature clevis has been replaced with a cotter pin and should be replaced before using the magneto. These magnetos are tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets ... moreand usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work. Don't miss your chance on this one. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. It's pretty crispy and the pictures tell the story. I've had several of these over the years and this is one of the nicer ones I've had. BRASS BODY WEBSTER MAGNETO M1 HOT GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS STATIONARY
This is a nice original BRASS body WEBSTER MAGNETO Type M1. Brass body and brass end plates so you dont have to worry about cracking metal like the pot metal magnetos. Original studs in the bottom and the threads are perfect. Bolt pattern is 2" wide and 1 1/2" deep. Has the original brass band over the magnet stamped M1 which is 1 1/2hp hercules but this one came off a small ALAMO and it will fit many others. No cracks. Breaks, or welds. Original springs and rollers. I tripped it while it was on a mag bracket and it did produce a spark at the points. Trip finger on the back is stamped K2. I have personally had this mag apart, and the inside is just as nice as the outside, no corrosion, great looking coils, and all original coil wiring! Very sharp looking magneto. Totally unmolested inside. I have purchased a brand new front cover and installed it as you can see. The magnetism is super and there is almost NO wear in the armature. I have owned probably over 100 EK's over the years and in all honesty this is one of, if not the nicest one I've ever had. This EK is just as good as brand new. This is a nice original and very hard to find serial tag for a 2hp Stover Y hit and miss gas engine. It measures 1 3/8 x 3 inches and is in good original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. It is brass and hasn't been polished and would look good on a nice original engine. These tags are pretty tough to find and I don't believe they are being reproduced. Vintage McDonald PL 980 Brass Gas Nozzle
14.00 Offering this vintage McDonald PL 980 gas nozzle right out of a recent estate. Measuring just about 16” in length the overall condition is very nice. The release handle compresses and springs back perfectly which starts and stops an air flow so the internals are also working just as they should. The brass surface is very tarnished but all the markings are still strong and the threads are crisp. The surface does show scratches and nicks in several areas but there are no breaks or cracks in the casting. A very nice old McDonald nozzle offered with absolutely no reserve. Vintage Art Deco Wall Sconce Electric Lamp converted from gas Brass? Bronze?
Up for bid is an Art Deco Wall Sconce Electric Lamp. Very heavy. 2-1/2 pounds by itself. 11-1/2 inches tall, 5-1/2 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Has a some kind of combination body- the back plate is silver colored when I scratch a spot but isn't steel because it's non-magnetic. pot-metal? The body is also non-magnetic but way too heavy to be pot metal, I'm guessing brass or bronze. I have heard and been told so many different things about these that I just DON'T KNOW! Looks like it was meant to have a chimney up the front as there is a clip wire around a depression in the front. You can see this in the picture that's looking down it's"throat" Also the hole in the back leads me to believe that this was converted from gas. Please see condition above.
