Antique brass swing arm gas wall fixture, light complete with etched glass shade
This is a brass wall fixture with a swing-out arm. The lamp or light has the original etched glass shade with designs of spiders. Palm fronds and cameos or ladies profiles. The light is complete, with the mounting bracket, the valve(turns) and the switch with brass ball chain and acorn shaped knob. Fully extended, the lamp reaches out 24 inches from the wall. The inner arm is 11 inches long, and the outer arm is 9 1/2 inches. The bracket for the shade measures 4 inches across. The beautifully etched shade is 4 1/4 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches across. Brass Water Pump Small Oberdorfer Gas Eng Steam
This brass water pump is marked Oberdorfer. The shaft turns nicely. It has rubber impellers that look good. The shaft is 1/2" diameter. 2-1/8" long with a flat for a set screw. The input and out put pipe threads are 3/8" The mounting bolt holes are 2-1/8" on center. The base is stamped CW which probably means it turns clockwise. There is some green corrosion on the brass but that is easily cleanable. The brass grease cups turn. I think this small pump is very much usable. It is 3-1/2" tall. Old Stromberg M2 Brass Wallis Rock Island Tractor Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Engine
This is a rather hard to find and pretty nice original Stromberg M-2 brass or bronze carburetor for an early tractor. Car, or truck. They were commonly used on Wallis and Rock Island tractors but probably have many other applications. It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind other than the choke shaft. It has been broken or cut off but still moves. I'm sure it would be an easy repair. The original float and chamber cover are still with the carburetor. The throttle shaft is nice and snug and ready to go to work. The carburetor mounts with two holes 2 1/2 inches apart on center. These mounting holes have been elongated a bit but will work just fine and never be noticed when it's mounted onto the manifold. The carburetor has a 1 5/8 inch intake and a 1 7/16 opening where it mounts to the manifold. ... moreThese original brass carburetors are getting harder to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one to complete a restoration or just for a spare on the shelf, here's your chance. Antique Victorian Gas/Electric Brass Wall Sconce~Acorn Pull Chain~Hubbel~Flowers
Beautiful little sconce. And has a very unique acorn finial on the pull chain. The set screws on the pierced top fitter are pretty little flowers, and all three are present. It was in use in our 1891 home until just recently when we opened up a wall to the reading nook it was in to make a master bath. I suspect it was there from when the house was wired to replace the gas lights. Our town. Bellefonte, was the second town to be electrified after Edison's home town! The sconce is wired and ready to go. But please an electrician or knowledgeable person double check the wiring to your satisfaction since it is not a new piece. The wiring is cloth covered, but doesn't look original, so may have been rewired more recently. The piece is marked 250V Hubbel 250W on the socket. And Pat Applied For on the arm. I polished it about 4 years ago, ... moreand it has mellowed to a lovely light brass patina. About 20 years ago. I went to a farm estate sale in the hills of Monmouth Oregon. The older gentleman worked for the railroad and drug home every cast-off fitting and component imaginable. This Buckeye gas pump nozzle was unearthed in a massive pile of brass scrap. It was in great condition other than the spout.which was crushed. And so was I. BUT, it now has an exact duplicate spout. The only difference is that the original was flared into the mounting nut.the replacement ... moreis soldered to the nut. Below the embossed"Buckeye" is the number: 3/4(photo#5) The handle is numbered: 2199-4(photos#4& 5) The number 2302 is stamped on the base(photo#6) The body is 4-3/4" x 3-3/8" The spout is 5-3/4" long. But I believe it would have been used on a gas lamp and would have had a length of chain attached to each end of the rocking arm to make it an on/ off switch. I have only been able to see similar ones in photos of such lamps, but this one seems to have an extra little lever attached to one side of the gas connector. This narrow, tubular, brass lever would swivel through 360 degrees if it weren't for the arm being in the way. Never come across one of these before! I have put it in the Victorian category. I think these are for a chandelier or sconce there in excellent condition they measure 2 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" at base and 3/8" hole. that stuff you see on them comes right off

Antique Brass Gas Wall Sconce Roses Art Nouveau Lamp Candlestick Holder
Up for sale is an Antique Solid Brass Gas Wall Sconce features a rose design. Looks like a bouquet of roses. There are 2 tubes that lead to the large open roses, which thread onto the tubes. The front features a hole where a knob would be mounted to control the flames. There are a total of 2 gas burners, it could be used as candlestick holders or even be converted to make a really nice wall accent lamp. It is approximately 21"T x about 12 1/2"W, and total it stands approximately 4" from the wall, so I would say 4" deep. This is a really intricate and realistic casting, note the detail work on the closed buds and on the leaves. This is a very quality piece, and very solid and heavy, it weighs almost 6 lbs. It was made in the late 1800's to early 1900's and is of an Art Nouveau style. This would make a lovely accent ... morein any home or garden.
