1968 Vintage Fender Dripedge Blackline Bandmaster amp Tube Amplifier deluxe
Early 1968 Fender Bandmaster with blackline silverface front panel and dripedge trim around grillcloth in very good condition. Two 6L6 tube amp with tremolo. 40 watts@ 4 ohms. The inspection stamp on the chassis dates the 5th week of 1968. This amp didn't need to be"blackfaced" as it was early enough to always have the cloth covered and neat lead dress wiring. Blue molded ajax coupling caps(they sell for about $100 a set) and bias circuit used on blackface amps. All transformers are original and have 1967 date codes: Power 606748; Output 606747; Choke 606740. Recent filter caps, bias cap, and the tubes biased. The bypass caps are still original. Grounded power cord has been installed. The tremolo has the intensity switch mod. If the intensity knob is turned counter clockwise all the way it will click off and take the tremolo ... morecircuit out and see 30% more signal at the phase splitter input. The amp has x3 foot switchable channels, clean, classic overdrive gain, and modern gain, each have two settings along with there own individual EQ parameters. This amp has the ability to play at loud volumes, and has a switch to kill the juice but keep the tone for in home practice, very useful! Western Electric 509 Crystal & Early Tube Radio Headphones Tested clear sound
One of the best headsets for the crystal radio. Western electric 509 set that functions great. The sticker on the cable says western electric pat 1914. So these are about 100 years old. The only issues is that the outside of the cable sheath is old and frayed and missing in a few spots and the headband is stained. Nickel plating is very good along with the bakelite covers that look great and have no cracks or breaks or chips. The cans are solid brass and heavy compared to the baldwins I have for sale. Th is listing consists of a pair of rare 1950s vintage Altec M-30"Lipstick" microphones with 175-A. AKG 29A cardioid capsules, 525A power supplies with Peerless audio transformers and original mesh shielded cables. These mics were once part of the U.S. Senate recording studio in the Eisenhower- JFK era and have been consigned to me by their owner. Who has kept them in storage since the mid-1980s. The ALTEC silkscreening on the face of each power supply is faded. No modifications have been performed. Only one system is pictured owing to the 12 picture limit. However the appearance of both is identical. Cleaning out the Test Lab! Multiple DC regulated power supplies for sale. HP/ Agilent 6209B DC Power Supply 320V DC at 100mA. Unit functions perfectly and was recently calibrated internally to verified voltage and current using a Fluke Multimeter. Last time it was NIST calibrated was in 99- but these power supplies are 100% reliable constant duty always on supplies. No fans to go bad but instead massive aluminum heat fins in the back. This is not your modern high frequency switching power supply. It a solid old skool power supply originally designed for audio and especially electron tube(vacuum tube) circuit design testing. This unit cannot short cathode to anode. It simply will not go past its current limit. We have about a dozen of these units and we dont need that many. I bought both of these new. I used the overdrive pedal quite a bit. But only used the phaser a few times. I removed the rubber pads on the bottom of both and put the original supplied Velcro on.
