Vintage Stewart Warner Tube Radio Model 9165 A Bakelite Case Parts Restore
Vintage Stewart Warner Tube Radio. I am not sure what the age is on this radio. It is a Model 9165 A. It has a bakelite case. Non working. Parts or restore. Measures 14 inches long and is 7 1/2 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches tall. There is a 3 1/2 inch long crack on the top of the case on the right hand side.

Zenith Hi-Fi ..8 Tube...Table Radio.. Model H845...Sounds Super...2 Speakers
Zenith H845 tube radio from about 1960. Picks up lots of AM and FM stations even here in WV with the built in antennas. The sound is amazing for a table radio as it has an 8" woofer and a 3" tweeter. AFC works well. The selenium rectifier and most capacitors have been replaced. The plastic grill has a small chip at the top(see photos) and the 2 chrome plated knobs at the right side are going a little green. Some dial alignment is needed as FM 104.7 comes in at 107. This is a Rare British Vintage Bird"Golden Eagle" tube amp. This powers up and plays. I will also include a step Up transformer for US buyers to be able to plug this in to US 120 V. All three speakers are good and tremolo works. The reverb doesn't work and the tank is disconnected so it might just be the tank? I don't know. This is the early Bird with the rare grill cloth and slightly different tolex. It has a couple small tears in the grill as you can see in the pictures and some tears in the tolex. This amp as with any vintage tube amp this should be serviced before using by an experienced tech to bring it up to a reliable stable and safe amp. This awesome set is in good vintage condition and is in fine working shape. We tested all of the inputs and knobs and all worked well. There are some definite cosmetic flaws with the set. There is some light rusting and some slight separation at some of the seems. There are plenty of scuffs and scratches on both the amp and speaker cabinet. It is an older restoration done many years ago. It has been in my collection for 15 years. I am reducing my radio collection. The radio was repainted a tan color and the finish is very nice with only a small chip in the paint just below the T in Zenith just above the top of the dial edge. Look over the photos carefully for overall condition. The bottom has some light scratchs from moving around on the table. It appears that the original color of the radio was ivory or off white. The radio plays very nice and receives many stations. The knobs and handle are black as well as the dial face. The radio chassis is clean and the antenna is in very good condition. This auction is for a restored antique or vintage 1948 Westinghouse Black Plastic tube radio. Model H-188. From a time when radio truly was king. This gorgeous Westinghouse set measures 7 1/2" tall X 11" wide. This is a restored and working radio ready to play. Display, and enjoy for years to come. No shortcuts or quick fixes. ~ Chassis& Electrical ~ This 5 tube Westinghouse chassis has had All paper. All wax. And All electrolytic capacitors replaced. All out of tolerance resistors were replaced. And every tube was tested and replaced if found to be weak. The volume potentiometer was then cleaned internally and is free of any annoying scratching or crackling sounds. All moving parts including tuning wheels were checked, cleaned, and lubricated as needed for smooth and reliable operation without sticking. Lastly, the signal strength was aligned, adjusted, and the radio is then bench tested(played) for a minimum of 48 hours to ensure reliability and peak performance.
