Complete Vintage 60's Acetone TOP-5 Transistor Organ, Classic Surf/VOX/Farfisa!
For your consideration is a classic 1960's combo organ from pre-Roland electronics firm ACE-TONE. This organ produces the classic surf/doo-wop/rock n' roll transistor organ tone and even channels the feel of later combo organ sounds like Elton John and Elvis Costello. It's a very simple machine with five tones and selectable vibrato. But each tone gives you an important part of the combo organ scale. This TOP-5 is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition with well-preserved plastics. A pristine keyboard, and vinyl case/top with very little wear. All four legs have strong chrome and screw securely to the base of the unit. The 3-prong power cord fits comfortably inside its designated compartment, and the entire unit closes up with both tight-locking clasps.The leather handle has wear with missing stitching but is reliable and ... moresturdy. Tonewise. This organ is great. Power, volume, and vibrato on/speed/depth all work without a hitch. All tones sound beautiful and come through clear and loud with an excellent 1/4" mono jack. On the horn and oboe setting, you can hear the tiniest tonal hum if your amp is turned up to its max setting and the room is silent. Neither tone is audible when playing or even when the organ is at rest with normal volumes in a gig environment, but it is worth noting. No tone has a loss of sound, signal, or pitch. The organ is in-tune and ready to rock. This is a vintage piece of electronics and sold as-advertised but otherwise ASIS. Vintage RCA 1-RJ-19 Transistor Radio USA Made 2 Color PRICE DROP to $6.99
I dropped the starting price from $7.99 to $6.99. This is a nice working radio! Real nice vintage WORKING Two tone Black and White RCA Victor 1-RJ-19 Transistor Radio with Case. The radio has a black front and white back. The back is marked IMPAC and has Nipper the dog near the top just under the RCA VICTOR. There are no breaks or chips in case. Please note the light spots on the front grill are dust that went through the holes in the leather case. The dust will clean up easily. There is no battery corrosion. It takes an odd VS149 battery rated for 4 volts. The battery is the size of an AA cell. I wired up 2 AAs in a external battery case for 3 volts output. The radio worked great on 3 volts. It picked up several stations with good volume. I think there are 3 volt lithium batterys the size of a AA cell that would work in this radio. 2 N cells ... moremight also work, you would have to check the dimensions. Vintage panasonic clock radio. I want to start by saying that the AM FM radio works flawlessly. All the dials turn perfectly and it gets great reception. Cosmetically the radio is in great shape. No major scratches or scuffs. The problem is in the hour side of the flipping numbers. They seem to be jammed up. This is a 1972 panasonic solid-state 7257 wood covered transistor radio by General Electric and it ROCKS! Works and sounds beautiful. It screams 1970's. FM sounds better than HD. AM works perfectly but I'm in a metal building in the middle of nowhere so I was picking up a lot of static. The wood has shined up brilliantly. It has its flaws and imperfections but once you see it in person you realize none of that matters. It really is one amazing radio. The sound is something you just can't get anymore. Vintage General Electric Model P780 Portable Transistor Radio
Up for auction is a Vintage General Electric Model P780 Portable Transistor Radio. I bought this radio over 50 years ago and haven't used it in over 40 years. The radio works just fine and is powered by 6 D cell batteries not included. It is in very clean condition. Please look closely at the pictures to verify the exact condition. At one time there was a very slight corrosion in the battery compartment. But this has been cleaned and does not affect the operation. The two light bulbs no longer worked and have been removed. One new light bulb will be included with the sale.

Ferris 9 Transistor Portable Car Radio- Model 294 My Dad bought this Ferris Transistor Radio back in the early 1970s. And is out of his first car(an EJ Holden I think? He's had it in storage ever since. It has a tape/pickup jack and also a fold-away carrying handle. The volume knob and what looks like the cover for the dial lamp indicator light(top right hand corner) are missing. The tuning knob still works, and the tuning needle slides across the viewing window smoothly. On/Off, Tone and Aerial buttons(top left corner) still depress, and hold down until depressed again to release. I'm not sure if the unit still works or if it needs extra parts to be functional(such as wire aerial extention cable or battery lead) This would be great as a restoration project or collector's piece for those who love vintage electronics. Hard plastic case seems good and sturdy. Speaker grill on top is good. All 4 dial knobs are good. Feet are 2 plastic bars and are good. Cord is old but looks good. The clock worked. The time set worked. I did not test the alarm. The AM and FM radio got reception and tuning dial worked. The radio off switch far left did not turn the radio off. I did not test the switch on right of clock(sleep? It didn't light up the dial. There is a lot of static in the volume control knob. Since it has some issues. For auction is one vintage Capehart V66 transistor radio. Model number 11P7. The radio has 6 blue oval case transistors. Original power source was 2 large 9V batteries in parallel. We clipped in a modern 9V battery and the radio worked fine. There was plenty of volume when tuning stations. The radio shows some signs of wear including dents on the speaker grille and wear to the leather case and missing stiching at the handle. Knobs are OK and there are no cracks. The name on this is Eagle. On the emblem it says 8 transistors and superdeluxe.This is an estate sale find. I know nothing about it other than the name and it has 2 band and 8 transistors. It takes 4 AA batteries I tried batteries and heard a bit of static,I dont think it works. There is a little corrosion in the battery case,but mostly that is worn green stickers that show battery placement. There is a small chip off of one corner. This is a rare Sony TR-714 transistor radio.2 band,with case and antenna from 1959. I put a 9 volt battery in it and tuned in an AM station.On SW I was only able to hear static,but, I know nothing about SW. The TR-714 is Sonys first pocket multi band radio,possibly the first in the world. Beautiful design and painted grille. It measures approx. 4.5" x 3" x 1.5" This working radio is perfect for the collector,the dial is clear and the sony logo is crisp. It comes with its original case with all snaps in tact. The antenna has some sctatches at the base where the case snap makes contact with it when it is put away. There is a crack in the case(see pictures)where the antenna screws into the top of the radio,this is difficult to see.There are ninor scratches on the case. No corrosion damage visible. It seems this radio has had little use.
