Model 560060 The Motor and Phase Rotation Tester permits the electrical contractor or industrial maintenance electrician to permanently connect and tape the terminals of the motor being installed. Without having to first energize the motor by a temporary hookup from a power source, if available, to determine motor rotation. Therefore, the test set eliminates the need for temporary connections that can be time consuming, costly and quite hazardous, particularly where many large, high-voltage motors are involved. Also. Certain types of drives should never be rotated in the wrong direction. In such cases, the temporary hookup ... moreor trial method, having a fifty-fifty chance of being wrong, can do serious harm. The three motor leads on the left side of the test set are for attachment to the terminals of the motor being tested for rotation determination. Fuses are inserted in the motor A and C test leads as protection in the event the user accidentally touches these leads to an energized circuit. These standard fuses are easily removed and replaced from their panel-mounted holders. The three lines leading to the right of the test set are for direct attachment to energized ac power systems up to 600 volts to determine the system phase sequence. A four-position switch selects the test to be made- system phase sequence. Motor rotation and transformer polarity. The selector switch connects a D-size dry cell into the circuit when the rotation of a motor or the polarity of a transformer is being checked. In the OFF position, both the meter and the battery are disconnected from all circuits. A push switch is connected in series with the battery and opens the circuit during transformer polarity testing.

BK Precision 1077B TV Analyst Television tester with Manuals & Acetate Slide kit
Comes with original B&K instruction manuals. Included also is the original acetate test kit in the original envelope. Slides and envelope are in great condition with slide protection partitions. All external setting knobs and labels are intact. There does not appear to be anything missing from this analyzer. Grounded elec plug is in good condition. With the exception of the identification engraved on the front. It is very good cosmetically. I finally decided to take a chance. Light up this thing up and give you fence sitters something to go by. I plugged it in- no problems. Turned the switch to standby mode with all other switches off and dials set to minimums. There are 13 tubes. 11 of them lit up. The 2 that did not light do not look damaged or burned. In picture number 4, I placed a white oval next to 2 tubes to show which did not ... morelight up. I placed a blue oval next to a tube which did not light as brightly as the others. The red oval indicates a spot just to the right of the base of that tall cylindrical component. Emminating from that point was a small whisp of smoke. It began approximately 40 seconds after I switched from standby to the on position. It became more volumnous as another 30 seconds went by. Not alot of smoke, just a grey column like that rising from a cigarette, but more slowly and not as much. I switched it back to standby and the column dissapated. I thought maybe some dust or something was burning off, so after some cooling I switched it again, from standby to the on position. The process repeated itself as before and I turned it back to standbye. I switched it on once more with the same result, except that it took longer for the smoke to begin and there was slightly less. I left it on 30 seconds longer and returned the switch to standby. I checked all the tubes and the same 11 tubes were still lit up. All other components looked as before. And YES, each time I turned the switch from standby to the on position, the large tube that looks like a cathode ray TV picture tube kind of thingy

This tester seems to be in poor to fair condition. The battery compartment is corroded. The label on the back is worn almost off& it's grungy. I put new batteries(NOT included) in it& pushed the test battery button in the probe compartment. The needle moved about halfway up the red BAD area. I'm assuming that's due to the corrosion causing a poor connection. I have no other way to test so selling AS/IS for parts or repair. Absolutely NO International Shipping!
