1930s Orig Negative New York Central, Double Mast Semaphore Signal F335
4.5 x 3.5 Negative. This is a part of a large collection of prints and negatives that I have from HW(Herman) Fechner. He was born in 1895 and died in 1957. From what I have found out from my collection and the web. He was a conductor with the New York Central Railroad and an avid sportsman. He sold prints, as well as made them for himself. I have not found any evidence of copyrights. He was an amazing photographer with a great eye and skills. Many of his photos show great depth of field and striking poses and subjects. Many are of Trains. Animals, People, Mountains and Lakes of Upstate New York, and more. I have both positive prints and many more negatives. There may be a print. Then a negative of that print weeks later, or Vice Versa. If possible I will match them up, but due to the quantity, that will be rare. U.S. Constabulary Assignment On 1 May 1946 the unit was reorganized and redesignated as the 97th Constabulary Signal Squadron and assigned to the U.S. Constabulary. Between 10 March and 1 April the 97th established land lines. VHF and HF radio, and a motor messenger service for Constabulary Headquarters at Heidelberg, Germany. The Squadron was also responsible for setting up a Constabulary Signal Center, installation of radios in Constabulary armored vehicles, and formation of radio repair teams. Complete original US Army WWII Signal Corps Flag Kit which includes a 25 x 4.5” canvas carrying bag including the shoulder strap and buckles and stenciled with the Army Signal Corps Insignia and the legend U.S. ARMY FLAG KIT. 2 semaphore hand-waved flags. Also included are 2 less commonly found Army/Navy“wig-wag” 22 x 23” flags one with a red flag with a white square in the center and a white flag with a red square in the center. Two 24” oak flag staffs, and a tapered black metal 3-piece 65” extension pole with 2 rings. The wig-wag flags and metal pole could be circa WWI as these were made from WWI to WWII. Condition: Excellent overall with some stains to one wigwag flag. Military WWII Wireless Set 19 Tank Radio Signal Corps Ham Accessories Army
See photos. This auction is for a pile of accessories for the WIreless Set Number 19 Mark II made during WWII for Russian lend-lease and then widely surp.Llused out after the war. No radio is included-just the accessories shown. They are: 3 headset/mic extension cords, headset/mic distribution box and associated cable, one other cabel that I am not sure of the function, what I believe is the original antyenna cable that came with the set, the spare tubes kit(missing the 807) and three headset/mic combinations that vary in condition as follows: One headset mic is like new in the box, a second headset/mic has had the mic cord replaced with a ham mic cord. This is easily undone and in 15 minutes you can have the headset/mic all back to original. The third headset muic is a basket case. Someone cut apart te cord and lost the headband. The earpieces ... moreand mic are there and they are like new. But the cord is a mess. There are also several connectrs of that weird type used by WS19MkII. But twhatevr they were attaced to has been cut off. he cloth ords are in great shape with no fraying or damage that I see. The rubber inside feels fine-it is not brittle.
