Official Boy Scout Postcard#28- Camp& Signal Tower- Boy Scouts The Boy Scouts of America published two series each containing 30 black and white po stcards. Both series under the catalog number#3029. Cards from the first series, published from about 1913 to 1917, were numbered, and each is clearly marked at the top"Official Boy Scout Postcard. Those in the second series. Published from 1917 on, were not numbered and the Official designation is on the address side. Other differences are more subtle. The photographs used to produce the cards were contributed from all over the country. This card is#28 from the first printing of the first series. There were three printings of the first series. The first printing is marked on the address side"Series 252. This was a designation not of the Boy Scouts. But of the printer whose"Stag" ... morelogo also appears on the card. When the B.S.A. objected to cards that had been privately printed but appeared to have come from the Boy Scouts. The printer added a note specifying that these cards were indeed authorized by the B.S.A. At the National Council's insistence, the printer finally removed the marking entirely. Shortly after, the series was completely replaced, and the printer, who had adamantly refused to remove the"Stag" logo, was replaced as well. Rare National Ziegler Railroad Signal Relay Type B-451 National Railway Signals
Rare National Ziegler Railroad Signal Relay Type B-451. Also known as National Railway Signals Company. White porcelain top. The relay is four(4) poles. All normally open. Close upon energizing the coil. In as-found condition. This relay is going to need some work and restoration. The coil wrap has deteriorated exposing the windings. And some windings are loose. Top dirty, but will clean up nicely as I cleaned some of it for the pictures. Inside of relay has unfortunately been exposed to water and there is corrosion evident on the metal armature bars. The inside of the glass also has rust deposits on it. I can find no information on National Ziegler or National Railway Signals online other than a mention of them. But nothing about them or their products.

I just picked this up at a thrift store when I realized what it was. The unit does not have a power adapter but I was able to plug in a generic 12V power adapter and everything seemed to boot up correctly. I don't really have a way to test that it works other than showing in the pictures that the lights seem to indicate it connected to the satellite. The original ethernet cable is included with it. Hickok Signal Generator Type OS-7, All Wave Radio & Frequency Oscillator
This is a very fine example of a very early and rare Hickok Signal Generator. The model number is not on the unit. But I found a gentleman who has a picture of this unit on his website and that is the number that he is using. Here is a link to his website. This unit has a new power cord. The capacitors have been replaced and the tubes have been tested and are good. The unit has not been tested against a frequency meter. I also have what I believe to be an original typed manual for this unit. This also notes that it is a Type OS-7. This is the only copy of a manual for this unit that I am aware of. I believe that this is a very hard to find unit. It come with a group of accessories for connection to various tube sockets. The case is in pretty good condition.
