U.S. Army Signal Corps Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Here is a great vintage tube tester for checking out those old tubes. Made for the U.S. Army Signal Corp by the Daven Corp. Model I-177-B made in the 1950's. Serial Number 1511. I don't know a thing about this tester. My brother was a big collector of military items and this was in his collection. It looks to be in good condition. Not all beaten up. Can't say if it works or not. It has the original w prong power wire plug still intact. The Department of the Army Technical Bulletin TB 11-2627-2 is still in place and in good condition. The case.It is in, looks to be factory painted"Navy Gray" over"Army Olive Drab" that can be seen through a few scratchs on the case. It is that color inside and out. 100% sure done as a factory color change as it's ... moreso well done. So probably was used in the Navy vs in an Army field position, if used at all. There is a data/ serial# plackard on the front of the case by the handle. Hard to read as it' has a light coat of gray paint over it. Since I don't know how to use it or have a tube to test. Federal Sign & Signal - Titan Model 312 - Automotive Beacon Ray Revolving Light
Please read ENTIRE auction BEFORE bidding or asking questions. You are looking at a USED Federal Sign and Signal Titan Model 312 Series A1 Automotive Beacon Ray Revolving Safety Light. It came off of a 1968 Cadillac Ambulance/Hearse Combination so I can only assume it was made in 1968. I was unable to locate any date codes on the unit. The item is used but in working condition. It has been tested and the light fixture revolves and the one remaining bulb lights up. ONE OF THE BULBS IS MISSING. Replacement bulbs are readily available. I have seen them on eBay. The bulb has markings on the back but I am unable to read all of them. Here is what I can make out: 12V 37.5W Halogen Made In USA. I have no idea if this is the original bulb or not. I don't think they made Halogen bulbs in'68 but I could be wrong. I think it is the same type ... moreof bulb used in Unity Mfg. spot lights like on the sides of police cars. The Amber Globe is very faded from the sun but is not cracked or chipped. It does have a few scratches. It could probably be polished but I'm not sure what to use on it. Please keep in mind. This came off of a 45 year old car. The Chrome Trim Ring that holds the Globe in place is in good shape, just needs a little polishing. I was unable to get the latch closed on the chrome ring. It was in the open position when I got the car. The Aluminum Housing is very corroded up under the globe but can be cleaned up with a wire brush. The part that shows looks pretty nice but could stand to be polished a bit. The vehicle this light came off of was used as an Ambulance and a Hearse. When used for a Hearse. The light was removed. The mounting screws had broken off at some point and someone made a less than desirable repair by drilling new holes next to the broken studs and put bolts through the new holes. One mount area is broken as can be seen in the picture. The unit stayed securely on the roof of the vehicle while I towed it on my trailer from Monroe, Michigan to Marietta, Georgia and then again to Rome, Georgia(a
