I replaced the rectifier filter capacitors and one leaky inter-stage capacitor so that both the output amplitude and frequencies are stable across all indicated frequencies. The tubes were tested to be good. There are additional holes drilled on cabinet top and sides for better heat dissipation. Sheet glued onto the inside of the lid. Western Electric tubes look new which is most of them. The ones in the Power Supply are RCA 6V6 x 2(a pair) black glass& base w/ silver print late 1950s ones as well I am sure. Inside it has 3 rotators(2 standard speed outboard. 1 fast center) Comes with new magnetic mounts& 11 feet of cable. Amber domes are in very nice condition. The light has been run for over 30 minutes with no problems. The wiring is a little bit on the thin side& could stand to be upgraded eventually. But, nothing I would worry about any time soon. Vintage HP 603A signal generator. In working condition. The unit is rack mount and does not have the outer case found on some models. It also has an interesting power protection module( see picture) The unit is AS-IS, it is currently working as demonstrated on the video[ http:youtu.be/Rpd0c-xVRoI] but it is a vintage tube set and while we will insure every effort is made for safe shipping, double boxed and extra padding, we cannot guarantee it's accuracy or functionality. Known issues: range knob has visible crack that has been glued, dial has some spotting where the lettering is gone, fuse holder knob has crack in plastic and has been repaired. Auction is for the portable RDF(Radio Direction Finder) survival radio receiver. AN-PRN-3 as pictured. AN for Army-Navy, PR for Personal Radio and N for Navigation) It was made by I.D.E.A. Inc. Size with whip antenna extended is about 18" high by 4" wide x 3" deep. Serial Number is 16. I beliveve it is very rare because of the low serial number and in searching I have been unable to find any information about it or I.D.E.A, the company who manufactured it. The loop antenna folds down as shown in one of my photos. There is a battery compartment in the bottom but there is no battery in it and I don't know what it takes for a battery. Electrically it is untested. Whip antenna tip is missing and it has some paint missing and corrosion as can be seen in the photos. Everything inside is in excellent physical condition.
