Good set of Model A (pre-1968) Strings
These were removed in good working order from a warped instrument body. They were too good to toss and I don't have any other Model As. Thought they might be useful to someone for spares or a full set. Aggravating to uncurl the ends but not as bad as paying $74 or more IMO. The panel is clean. knobs are all original. both"book" capacitors move freely. original Crosley audio transformers. one tests good on both sides. The other has an open primary winding. All of the original, unique Crosley binding posts are intact. The lid retains both the Crosley metal tag and the original paper tag. The mahagony cabinet is in very nice condition on the exterior. inside appears to have had a family of mice at one point. the openings for wires have been"chewed" and elongated and there is discoloration on the interior of the cabinet in one corner. Someone has done a very nice clean up of the cabinet. no odors or other problems remain.
