Vintage Gilbert American Flyer Tru-Model Train Set No Tracks Box is not in good condition but front of box is still legible and in tact Inspection sticker in box of train set reads"Inspected on April 17. 1948" This set includes 3 Power Units- 2 Locomotives. 1 yard Tractor The passenger train car appears to be a Jouets-Maroquinerie and has Voiture on the side. The wheels appear to be one size larger than the wheels on the HO Train set itself. The trains were tested on one piece of track and transformer and my findings were: New York Central Locomotive did not run but all pieces in tact and looks good. Just may need some TLC to get it to run. The Pennsylvania 155 ran in forward and reverse but was sluggish, needs some maintenance to get it to run correctly. Yard tractor ran in forward and reverse but was slow and will require maintenance ... moreas well. Passenger car and freight cars are in tact and look to be in good shape. Caboose looks good as well. Had this set checked out at local hobby shop and they were impressed with the set based upon its age and the locomotives. They also were impressed with the College Inn Food Products Company Train Car and"He had never seen one before" This set was purchased from an individual. This listing is for the Eveready model 21 battery powered receiving set and speaker pictured; it is a recent collection find. It is circa 1928 and the serial number is D10497. It is a 6 tube set and the tubes are included(five 40's and a 112A) It is untested and is being sold as such but with the expectation that it is in working condition.It has the original wood knobs and the markings on the dial are sharp and clear. The tuner works as designed and the other knobs function appropriately. The speaker driver is OK. It was made by the National Carbon Co and is classified as a TRF Neutrodyne with 4 AM circuits. The battery set is 13 1/2" by 13 1/2" and is 10 1/2" tall; the speaker is 10 1/2" by 7" and is 11" tall. When new. The battery set sold for $40; I do not know what the cost was for the speaker. Nice Yamaha full sized 1970's 12 string model FG-410-12 there are missing strings so included is a new set of D"Addario EJ41 Strings. The overall condition is good no cracks in body and the neck looks true with a 3/16" distance between fret-board and top E string at 12th fret. The guitar sat in storage most of it's life and was hardly ever played. Tuners are like new has a rosewood fret-board spruce body steel reinforced neck that is adjustable. There is a loss of the gloss on the back side of body and a few other spots does not effect the instrument at all probably can be buffed out. Was hard to get a clear picture of.
